Conveniently located in central Kyoto, Ryokan KANADE offers a Japanese-style garden. The room was amazing with an excellent view at this beautiful traditional garden. The stuff was really helpful and polite. Very clean with everyday room service.

Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. Incredible stay. Everyone was incredibly friendly- the lovely gentleman behind reception was so kind and remembered us later in the day so even before we had taken our shoes off had our room key ready. The included dinner and breakfast were delicious. Room was very clean and comfortable. Communal bathroom was clean- you are able to use the shower in the morning during the set times (bath is only in the evening). Location is excellent as only a short walk from the bus stop to the cable car. Would definitely recommend.
