Kyoto Takasegawa Bettei ligger gunstig til i sentrum av Kyoto og har concierge og gratis privat parkering. We loved our stay here. Every detail was very considered and beautiful. The photos don’t do the room justice! Highly recommend

Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei ligger en 10-minutters spasertur fra livlige Kawaramachi. Her tilbys du en turistinformasjon og bar i 1. Har sjelden følt meg så hjemme på et hotell. Alle som jobbet på hotellet tok seg god tid og ga gode råd. Hotellet og rommet var sjarmerende med sin tradisjonelle utforming- men med velfungerende aircondition og alt annet vi trengte. God frokost. Perfekt beliggenhet- nær severdigheter og restauranter- men i en rolig gate uten mange turister.

Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. I’m not sure if I can sum up the experience in a few words but here we go: if you are looking to live an authentic experience at Koyasan, Saizenin is without a doubt the best place to do so. For starters, the monks and staff were so friendly and helpful, explaining each step or indication carefully. The person at the front desk spoke amazing English and even German! The rooms are so comfortable and big for Japan size of course. Ours overlooked a small garden and the entrance. One of the things I loved the most was the location, right in front of the temple complex. The food was delicious and had us saying “wow” with each bite. Also, don’t pass on the opportunity to bathe in the classic onsen, so clean and so worth it! I would come back a million times and I would recommend it to everyone I know.

Offering free Wi-Fi and a spacious public bath, Ryokan Ryokufuso is located a 15-minute walk away from JR Kyoto Train Station. We enjoyed our stay very much. I wish we had spent a few more nights here. The hostess and staff were very friendly. She explained all the amenities and even helped us get dress in kimono. She recommended a good steakhouse for dinner. The onsen was relaxing.

Incredible experience - we loved every moment of our time here. It was our first ryokan & onsen experience, and everything exceeded expectations. The hosts were attentive & helpful, the Japanese tatami room was spacious and comfortable, and it is in the premium location in the town centre. We chose to include dinner & breakfast, and both were phenomenal. Yukata and kimono were provided, and they took great photos for us. The private onsens inside the ryokan were lovely, and a great introduction before we went to the public onsens in town. Highly recommend. Thank you!!!!

The ryokan runs a shuttle bus service to ferry guests upon arrival and departure, which is a great help if you have heavy luggage, as the terrain in Arima town can be quite hilly.
