3.9 km from Sukumo City History Museum, みなと館 華 is a recently renovated property located in Sukumo and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Dinner and breakfast were good and delicious. The owner was very kind to fetch me from the station in the evening and he drove me back to the station in the morning in the rain which was much appreciated by me.

Located 1.5 km from Hakusan Shrine, TheMana Village is a recently renovated 3-star accommodation in Tosashimizu, featuring an open-air bath, free bikes and private parking. A real gem, in a beautiful part of Shikoku. Nicely renovated and spacious room with view over the sea, great welcome by staff, very good breakfast and the best: outside hot bath with view over the cliffs (and probably the stars, hidden that day by the clouds). It was a last minute decision to go there, decision I do not regret. The restaurant was unfortunately closed on a Wednesday, but there was a nearby place that served excellent homemade food (Café Cape).

Featuring an open-air bath and views of city, Jyoseikan is a ryokan situated in a historic building in Kochi, 34 km from Daizen-ji Temple. Private parking is available on site. excellent Ryokan with excellent food for breakfast and dinner. I love the japanese bath house on top. i really emjoyed.

Offering free bikes and river view, Hotel Takasago is set in Kochi, 36 km from Daizen-ji Temple and 37 km from Nishihama Park. This 3-star ryokan offers a lift and full-day security. Loved this hotel for its kindness, cleanliness, and atmosphere. Had friendly staff and koi pond a the bottom. The friendly staff held our luggage for the day but also let us check into the room a few hours early, and it was a lovely spacious Japanese style room including tatami floors but with two twin actual mattress beds. The room was huge with a nice view and was only a short walk from Kochi Station. It's only a short walk to the city area as well. Loved the Japanese style breakfast. My friend was ill so the staff were really helpful to help me take her food to our room and eat it there. It cost a little more than our usual budget but it was worth paying a little extra for a fancy night of Japanese style accommodation with friendly staff.

Sansuien features an open-air natural hot spring bath, a Japanese garden and Western and Japanese-style rooms, only a 5-minute walk from Kochi Castle. The Japanese room was spacious. The breakfast very good. Lots of great options of western and Japanese food. Delicious!

Misaki Kanko Hotel is situated in Muroto. This 3-star ryokan provides a spa experience, with its hot tub and public bath. A beautiful and very special hotel. Don’t go here, if you look for anything modern and standard, its a time capsule. Meters from the sea, you’ll hear it! Great hospitality! Great food! Bus Stop just outside the door.

Situated just 400 metres from Tosa Seinan Daikibo Park Wampaku Hiroba, Shimantonoyado provides accommodation in Shimanto with access to an open-air bath, a garden, as well as a housekeeping service. Room is big enough, good parking, good environment. Good public bath.

Set within 1.5 km of Sukumo City History Museum and 8 km of Enkoji Temple, まなべ旅館 offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Sukumo. This hotel is absolutely great. It’s extremely clean, the personal is lovely! The futon is comfortable and the shower is very good. We had to beautiful kimonos to wear and rest. He are pilgrims from Shikoku88 and we highly recommend.
