Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Service was flawless, the food was perfect, and the baths were great. My room was good for my needs, it was quiet, and the waterfall and rivers outside was a great source of white noise. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay!

BeppuOnsen Hotel Sansenkaku, a property with an open-air bath, is situated in Beppu, 20 km from Crasus Dome Oita, 700 metres from Beppu Station, as well as 12 km from Oita Station. The room was spacious. Big public bath onsen was excellent, including the small outdoor onsen pool.

Beautiful ryokan nearby most of the attractions and bus station in Beppu. Private onsen was so nice to have in the morning and evening. Ran by a lovely family. Had the privilege of eating dinner and breakfast here as well.

Set in Beppu and only 24 km from Crasus Dome Oita, 徳の宿 ふぶ庵 offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The Onsen is quite enjoyable and relaxing.

Amazing property and terrific value for money. The room we stayed was seperate from the main building (a 2’ walk away) had an onsen bath + outdoor onsen areas and was simply stunning. Such a luxurious feel! You’re own private spa. Good location as well - walkable distance from the sights. (Hells of Beppu etc..) Would highly recommend.

Situated in Yufu in the Oita region, with Kinrinko Lake and Artegio nearby, Yufuin Rakuyu features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. I had a great time staying here. The hotel provides pick-up from Beppu station as it locates far from main town. But just a 20’ drive. Not bad. The place is not big, but room is spacious. Bed is comfortable. Room has basic amenities but is clean and warm. The in-room onsen offers privacy and comfort. The food is superb. Meal is very delicious: breakfast and dinner. Each meal always keeps you full until the next. So much food. But the highlight would have been the staffs. They are exceptionally friendly and welcoming of guests. Always smiling and helping with everything you possibly need. I would definitely recommend you to stay 2-3 nights to enjoy the most of the place, and the town.

Ideally situated in the Yufuin Onsen district of Yufu, Yufuin Tsuru no Yu is situated 1 km from Kinrinko Lake, 26 km from Beppu Station and 37 km from Oita Station. Nice quiet corner beside a river with running water sounds, beside a rice Paddy field facing mountain views. Breakfast is great, Japanese style with many small dishes serving. Imagine after a morning spring bath your breakfast is ready to serve you that feeling is so great.

Providing city views, Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA is located in the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, 26 km from Crasus Dome Oita and 5.5 km from Beppu Station. The rooms were spacious and very traditional, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The location was close to for example Hyotan Onsen and the Jigoku sights as well as Kannawa bus station for easy access to a quick trip to Myoban as well. Every morning we got boiled onsen eggs outside our door and there were filter coffee bags and hot water in the kitchen. Miho went out of her way to help us out at every turn!

The hotel is just 5 mins walk to the hells of beppu attraction. The buffet (dinner and breakfast) were fantastic. Love the beef steak and the buffet spread. Services by the restaurant crew was fantastic too! The rooms were spacious and the layout was well thought out. The best experience was this particular counter staff. I forgot to note down his name but I really would like to compliment his good service! He was so helpful in giving us the direction to the bus stop and bus time schedule. He personally walked us out of the hotel premise to show us where the location of bus stop. He is what I called service beyond expectation!!
