Great hotel in Matsushima, loved my stay there! I arrived a little bit earlier than expected and the team helped me doing an early check-in. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Location is great too: it's a short walking distance to the city centre and also close to the Matsushima and Takagimachi JR stations. The hotel team was outstanding: the couple managing the ryokan are great and the rest of the team did a very very good job too. Very good value for money. Highly recommended!

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. Where to begin? The room was excellent in size and had a nice feeling to it. The onsen was close by. The staff was so kind and service minded. The whole experience with dinner and breakfast was exceptional, especially the staff member whom served us with excellent English. Just the whole experience was quite wonderful.

Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. All very helpful and friendly. The public baths were wonderful. Outside baths were 2 different scenarios, one was gorgeous with five separate river rock soaking areas overlooking the river and forest, the other was 1 wooden tub in a small pavilion. Women have the beautiful spot afternoon/evening and swap with the men in the morning. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and private soaking tub. The buffet style dinner and breakfast were delicious. Huge variety of freshly prepared foods. All you could eat and drink, beer, wine, various alcohol, sake, in the restaurant. The reception area had a piano, wood burning central fireplace to sit around. There were small tables with various board games, a library, snacks, beer and wine. Comfortable seating overlooking the hillside that was lit up at night. Very romantic spot to go for a special night.

Objekt Suzukiya Ryokan nalazi se na dobroj lokaciji u četvrti Kamasaki Onsen u gradu 'Shiroishi', na 49 km od znamenitosti Sendai City Community Support Center, 47 km od znamenitosti Ostaci dvorca... Everything was perfect! Dinner and breakfast were so delicious. We had a wonderful experience of Japanese entertainment such as onsen, wearing yukata and sleeping on futon.

Great and I mean GREAT service. The staff were amazing, catering to every need. The place is quiet and very zen. It is perfect for those looking for peace and want to meditate. The onsen facilities are clean and heavenly. There was a private onsen in my room and I enjoyed it ALOT.

The staff were all accommodating and the experienced felt very personalized. I could feel the traditional omotenashi service I rarely feel in ryokans in Tokyo nowadays.

Chikusenso Onsen is a beautiful retreat where you find yourself surrounded by both nature and tranquility. All of the amenities are impeccable and it is nearly impossible to not be relaxed during your time there.

Objekt TAOYA Akiu nalazi se na povoljnoj lokaciji u četvrti Taihaku Ward u gradu 'Sendai', na 19 km od znamenitosti Sendai City Community Support Center, 38 km od znamenitosti Hram Shiogama i 18 km od... Taoya Akiu is, in short, fantastic. Location is 2min walking from the bus stop from/to Sendai, but to get there and from there they offer a free shuttle bus (require reservation, ideally now than one day before). The few attractions in the area are all reachable by walking. The resort is huge but services are distributed well and moving around is efficient. Basically everything is included in the price and offered as part of the staying: there are free drink -including alcoholic beverages- and snacks, you can choose your yukata among the different colours avaliable. There are multiple relaxing areas which are all nice and cozy, and there is even a shop inside. The onsen (baths) are gorgeous as you see in the pics. There are 4, two indoor and two outdoor that are assigned in pair to males and females, switching every day (this is standard for Onsen places) so you can try both even if you only stay one night. Check in and out are quick and staff is polite as always in Japan. Both dinner and breakfast are buffet style with quite a huge selection. The room is amazing, large for Japanese standards (and I mean really large) and beautiful with beds in a japense style section in the middle of the room. Super recommended.
