I Matsushima, bare 10 kilometer fra Shiogama-helligdommen og 24 kilometer fra Sendai City Community Support Center ligger Matsushima Koumura. Kjempekoselige de som eier! Ble så godt tatt i mot og de vinket lenge etter oss da vi dro. Rommet var topp og fellesbadet var veldig fint og koselig. Enkel vei inn til sentrum. Rommet var kjempefint og behagelig.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. Where to begin? The room was excellent in size and had a nice feeling to it. The onsen was close by. The staff was so kind and service minded. The whole experience with dinner and breakfast was exceptional, especially the staff member whom served us with excellent English. Just the whole experience was quite wonderful.

Located right in front of Matsushima Bay, Komatsukan Kofu-tei offers accommodations with free wired internet access. Clean large traditional rooms with picturesque view. Clean and relaxing private onsen. Great breakfast buffet selection. Free shuttle to and from the JR station.

I Sendai, 27 kilometer fra Sendai City Community Support Center, ligger Sakunami Onsen Yuzukushi Salon Ichinobo, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. Everything was absolutely wonderful, from the kind staff, food, room, and amenities.

Suzukiya Ryokan ligger ideelt til i Kamasaki Onsen i Shiroishi, 49 kilometer fra Sendai City Community Support Center, 47 kilometer fra Sendai slott og 48 kilometer fra Zuihoden. The staff were exceptional, to the point where I feel a 10 is not a high enough rating. Everyone was amazing and understanding, even with the slight language barrier. The facilities were wonderful and as a return guest, I can guarantee that any future visit I make to the area, I will be certain to stay at this property again.

I Sendai, 17 kilometer fra Sendai City Community Support Center, ligger Saryo Souen, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en fellesstue. Great and I mean GREAT service. The staff were amazing, catering to every need. The place is quiet and very zen. It is perfect for those looking for peace and want to meditate. The onsen facilities are clean and heavenly. There was a private onsen in my room and I enjoyed it ALOT.

I Zao, 38 kilometer fra Sendai City Community Support Center, ligger かっぱの宿旅館三治郎, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. The staff were all accommodating and the experienced felt very personalized. I could feel the traditional omotenashi service I rarely feel in ryokans in Tokyo nowadays.

I Zao, 42 kilometer fra Sendai City Community Support Center, ligger 竹泉荘 Chikusenso Onsen, som har et treningsstudio, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en fellesstue. onset, dinner, breakfast, services.

TAOYA Akiu ligger attraktivt til i Taihaku Ward i Sendai, 38 kilometer fra Shiogama-helligdommen, 18 kilometer fra Sendai slott og 18 kilometer fra Sakuraoka Daijingu. Taoya Akiu is, in short, fantastic. Location is 2min walking from the bus stop from/to Sendai, but to get there and from there they offer a free shuttle bus (require reservation, ideally now than one day before). The few attractions in the area are all reachable by walking. The resort is huge but services are distributed well and moving around is efficient. Basically everything is included in the price and offered as part of the staying: there are free drink -including alcoholic beverages- and snacks, you can choose your yukata among the different colours avaliable. There are multiple relaxing areas which are all nice and cozy, and there is even a shop inside. The onsen (baths) are gorgeous as you see in the pics. There are 4, two indoor and two outdoor that are assigned in pair to males and females, switching every day (this is standard for Onsen places) so you can try both even if you only stay one night. Check in and out are quick and staff is polite as always in Japan. Both dinner and breakfast are buffet style with quite a huge selection. The room is amazing, large for Japanese standards (and I mean really large) and beautiful with beds in a japense style section in the middle of the room. Super recommended.
