All very helpful and friendly. The public baths were wonderful. Outside baths were 2 different scenarios, one was gorgeous with five separate river rock soaking areas overlooking the river and forest, the other was 1 wooden tub in a small pavilion. Women have the beautiful spot afternoon/evening and swap with the men in the morning. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and private soaking tub. The buffet style dinner and breakfast were delicious. Huge variety of freshly prepared foods. All you could eat and drink, beer, wine, various alcohol, sake, in the restaurant. The reception area had a piano, wood burning central fireplace to sit around. There were small tables with various board games, a library, snacks, beer and wine. Comfortable seating overlooking the hillside that was lit up at night. Very romantic spot to go for a special night.

Everyone was amazing and understanding, even with the slight language barrier. The facilities were wonderful and as a return guest, I can guarantee that any future visit I make to the area, I will be certain to stay at this property again.

Great and I mean GREAT service. The staff were amazing, catering to every need. The place is quiet and very zen. It is perfect for those looking for peace and want to meditate. The onsen facilities are clean and heavenly. There was a private onsen in my room and I enjoyed it ALOT.

Set in the peaceful TogattaOnsen, a very rural town. The area is easier to explore by car. The food was unbelievably good, we did half board, enjoying both breakfast and dinner Japanese style. The service was excellent, all the staff were so helpful, even with my limited Japanese. If you want a relaxing place, this is it, they have both public and private baths available (private is extra cost).

All of the amenities are impeccable and it is nearly impossible to not be relaxed during your time there.

The staff, the facilities, the room, the food, the baths, enjoying yukata life. We have been travelling around Japan for weeks and this place was the first place to feel like a relaxing holiday. We were a little concerned given the cost that we wouldn't find it worth it but we loved it and only wish we could have stayed longer. A very memorable time
