Excellent location, particularly if you’re keen to attend the sunrise service at the temple. Plenty of space in the room. Terrific meals; the food and the cheerful hospitality of the dining room & kitchen staff in particular are worth the splurge.

It was a beautiful room, very comfortable beds and the shared bathroom didn’t bother us as it’s a very small hotel with only a few guests. The meals were beautifully prepared and served. The location was great too.

The staff were very friendly and we had lovely Japanese ladies who personally showed us to our rooms and made tea for us, and offered local Japanese snacks. We had a lovely chat, albeit limited English from them. Dinner and breakfast were served in a private room, food and service were awesome! We had a birthday celebration and they prepared a lovely cake for us. We had such a wonderful stay that we are still reminiscing weeks after our trip.

26 km from Takato Joshi Park in Komagane, Hotel Yamabuki offers accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and public bath. Hot Spring was great with clean hot bath, and the staff welcomed us kindly even we arrived close to 9 pm.
