The property is beautiful, cared for by two wonderful, heart-warming ladies who are always gentle, attentive, and ready to welcome you with a genuine smile. The facilities are spotless and cozy. The onsen is private and completely tattoo friendly, you simply close the door and enjoy the bath all to yourself. Thoughtful toiletries are provided both in the bathing area and in your room, along with comfortable yukatas and even traditional socks for the evening. There is so much heart in this ryokan: in every detail, in every gesture, and in every smile, even in the little dog who greets you upon arrival. From your room, you can admire a lovely view of the city, surrounded by the peaceful mountain where the ryokan rests, and even enjoy the charming cable car ride that takes you up the hillside.

Kotono yado Musashino offers accommodation in Nara, and is located a 11-minute drive from Nara Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. Location is great, right in Nara park. Staff was helpful and understanding of the language barrier. Let us drop our bags off early before check-in. Great food and service for both supper and breakfast. Nice big room for the two of us. They were nice enough to order our taxi for us the morning we left so we didn't have to worry about hiking back to the train (or bus) station.

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. Molt ben ubicat, al costat del parc. Les instal.lacions brutals. En particular el “private bath” val molt la pena. El servei increible! Hem estat de cine!

Offering public baths, Yoshidaya Ryokan よしだや is situated in front of Sarusawa-ike Pond. Kofuku-ji Temple is just a 2-minute walk away. Free WiFi is available on site. It was incredible. We arrived early before check-in . Dropped our luggage, and the hotel is right at the entrance of the park. The staff is very polite and we had a wonderful tradiontal Japanese breakfast.

La pintoresca pensió d'estil japonès Hotobil B&B 潤 An inn that enjoys breakfast es troba al centre de Nara, a 10 minuts amb taxi de l'estació de tren JR de Nara. Staying at Hotobil was one of my favorite parts of our whole trip to Japan - and the food was straight up the BEST (and we ate a lot of great meals out there). The location is super easy to access, just a minute away from the main tourist-friendly loop bus through town, in a quiet residential neighborhood - as soon as we stepped through the door, we felt at home, like we were visiting family, not a hotel. Our host is the nicest, most helpful lady, and the best cook. She was also so fast responding to our questions! My dad and I are both fish-ambivalent vegetarians and we made a last-minute request for breakfast (pictured! yes all that just for breakfast!) as well as dinner just a few days before we got there and as I said, they were the two best meals we had all trip. We stayed in the Japanese style tatami room, which was beautiful and almost absurdly spacious for two, with super comfy mattresses and fluffy pillows and duvets. It was enchanting, and we wished we were staying a second night (and yes, there's more than enough to see in Nara for two days).

The accommodation facility of Gyokuzoin Temple features a hot public bath. The hotel is located in Mount Shigisan and houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Absolutament tot. És una experiència completa. Realment val la pena.

A 12-minute walk from the Kintetsu Nara Train Station, Hotel New Wakasa offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Traditional Japanese Breakfast Room amenities. Available skincare on the room are amazing Rooftop view, private and public bath are the best.

A 2-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station, a 5-minute taxi ride from JR Nara Train Station and a 5-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasuga Hotel features Japanese cuisine and beautiful hot public... Very nice hotel, amazing staff (they helped me sort out an issue i had, not regarding the hotel). Public bath is good, Japanese breakfast was good. We stayed in a Japanese style room and it was good looking and comfortable

Tsukihitei is located in the Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Location is incredible. Suite gorgeous. Amazing dinner with exceptional service. Very private and quiet.

Featuring an open-air bath and views of quiet street, Ryokan Asukasou at the entrancne of Nara park is a recently renovated ryokan located in Nara, 1.8 km from Nara Station. Excellent service. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. We had a beautiful room with partial temple view and private bath. Very spacious (around 55 sq m). Everything felt new and renovated. Clean with all modern amenities. Had parking. Quiet.
