Kanko Ryokan Yamato features city views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Ikoma, 8.8 km from Iwafune Shrine. The staff are the nicest people. The futon is heated and has a duvet that is like sleeping under a cloud. The view is beautiful especially at night. The breakfast is traditional Japanese and fantastic. The temple up the street is amazing and best of all it's never crowded. There are a couple of good restaurants a short walk away. And every night we used the bath which was so relaxing. We just loved the experience.

Kotono yado Musashino offers accommodation in Nara, and is located a 11-minute drive from Nara Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. very competent and helpful staff. It really felt authentic

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. The staff was amazing. Very friendly, helpfull, just great. The breakfast was very nice with the choice of Japanese or Western. Both changed every day so very nice to try the Japanese version. The room was very Japanese and a nice change from western style. Slept on the floor but suprizingly comfy. Onsen very nice and warm.

Offering public baths, Yoshidaya Ryokan よしだや is situated in front of Sarusawa-ike Pond. Kofuku-ji Temple is just a 2-minute walk away. Free WiFi is available on site. The front desk staff were SUPERIOR, the room was beyond our expectations. Located in the heart of NARA, it was a short walk to all of the attractions and downtown shopping/restaurant area. I can't say enough about the superior level of customer care we experienced and wish I could remember her name to give her credit directly.

Featuring 1-star accommodation, Hotobil B&B 潤 An inn that enjoys breakfast is located in Nara, 2.1 km from Nara Station and 21 km from Iwafune Shrine. exceptionally large & private space -- ie, the whole 2nd floor -- in a relatively simple & authentic ryokan ... with ample parking, laundry facilities & a quite tasty breakfast to boot. the sweet hostess (w/good english) is extremely accommodating & very kindly went out of her way to send my forgotten shoes on to one of our next hotels. a totally comfortable place to stay in a quiet neighborhood

We so much enjoyed our time at this temple - the scenic look of this mountaineous area, an extensive temple area, the symbol of the tiger in a few corners, just a very serene atmosphere. Getting there by public transport was not a problem (bus from Oji station, well signposted). We were greeted at the reception and then could move into our Japanese style tatami rooms. Toilets and bath are shared which were meticously clean. The dinner and breakfast were amazing. Attending the goma fire ritual very early in the morning felt so special.

A 12-minute walk from the Kintetsu Nara Train Station, Hotel New Wakasa offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Hotelli oli todella siisti sekä viihtyisä ja henkilökunta oli mukava sekä auttavainen. Sijainti oli myös hyvä.

A 2-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station, a 5-minute taxi ride from JR Nara Train Station and a 5-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasuga Hotel features Japanese cuisine and beautiful hot public... Lovely staff, comfortable and clean room and very nice outdoor baths!

Tsukihitei is located in the Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Beautiful and the staff was amazing.

Located just 1.8 km from Nara Station, Ryokan Asukasou at the entrancne of Nara park provides accommodation in Nara with access to an open-air bath, a shared lounge, as well as a lift. Staff was really kind and supportive. The facilities were very nice.
