A great place to spend your day away from big cities and sights flooded with tourists. This is a ryokan so you get a nice futon bed, tatami floor, yukatas. The view from our room was great! We’ve also ordered a delicious Japanese style breakfast. The public bath is actually two rooms that have a lock, so you could go inside with your family together. This was very nice for me because I’ve been traveling with my partner and a 1,5y son. The area is quiet and nice. There is a temple you need to go uphill. The area is mountainous with lots of stairs. You take the cable car to get there. Keep in mind that there are no supermarkets there, you need to go down by cable car to Ikoma. But there are some restaurants and cafes so you won’t get hungry. I think it’s even more beautiful in fall, you can enjoy momiji. We’ve stayed in late March and the weather was not the best, like 10-15 C. So we’ve used a heater in the room and in the bath. Don’t hesitate to ask the owner to show you how to use it

Kotono yado Musashino offers accommodation in Nara, and is located a 11-minute drive from Nara Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. Location is great, right in Nara park. Staff was helpful and understanding of the language barrier. Let us drop our bags off early before check-in. Great food and service for both supper and breakfast. Nice big room for the two of us. They were nice enough to order our taxi for us the morning we left so we didn't have to worry about hiking back to the train (or bus) station.

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. Great baths. Both public and in room. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful. Gourmet level. N service was great.

Nastanitev Yoshidaya Ryokan よしだや se nahaja ob ribniku Sarusawa-ike, le 2 min hoje od templja Kofuku-ji. V sklopu nastanitve so na voljo javne kopeli in brezplačen WiFi. This is a really good Ryokan! I love staying here. Very clean, genuinely friendly staffs and very good food. Every day it is a different ryokan meals.very delicious too.

The accommodation facility of Gyokuzoin Temple features a hot public bath. The hotel is located in Mount Shigisan and houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. The peace around it. The fire ceremony was a unique experience, 100% recomended.

A 12-minute walk from the Kintetsu Nara Train Station, Hotel New Wakasa offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. The room was incredible. It was one of their newer renovated rooms and was really breathtaking. The attention to detail was amazing! The private onsen tub and view was so special. The meals we had (dinner and breakfast) were probably some of the best we’ve ever had in our lives. Both left us very full, both physically and emotionally. The staff were also wonderful, especially the person who brought us to our rooms and explained how everything worked, and the server at the restaurant. Also a super convenient location, walking distance from the Nara train station.

A 2-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station, a 5-minute taxi ride from JR Nara Train Station and a 5-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasuga Hotel features Japanese cuisine and beautiful hot public... Beautiful onsen. Excellent location. We were able to walk to all the important places in Nara. The restaurant staff and everybody else were very helpful.

Tsukihitei is located in the Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Service and food were exceptional. The beauty and location in the ancient forest were exceptional.
