Marumo Ryokan is an authentic Japanese ryokan and is hands down the best we’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, it is impeccably clean, and the meals are a delicious traditional feast. The hosts are very accommodating and thoughtful. We took the train to Omi-Iwazu and then rode back to Omi-Takashima, where we rented bikes to visit the Shirahige shrine. We also went to Makino to spend some time at the beach. Our entire group of five wished we had planned to stay for 2 or 3 nights instead of one. It was a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the rest of our trip and we would hands down all choose to stay there again!

Biwako Hanakaido features outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, 3 dining options and rooms with a balcony and Lake Biwako views. It also has a garden and a sauna, while the lobby offers free WiFi. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it easy to communicate with them. The ladies that presented the food at dinner were exceptional, explaining each dish in detail, and even assisted in frying the meats perfectly. An overall amazing experience

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. We loved everything about our stay. From before check-in until after check-out, everyone put in so much attention to detail. Incredible views, luxury and the meals were nothing short of amazing. Would highly recommend this to everyone and definitely come back ourselves! We'd like to thank the staff for all of their hard work!

Objekt Yumotokan smješten je na idealnoj lokaciji u četvrti Ogoto Onsen u gradu 'Otsu', na 16 km od znamenitosti Hram Enryaku-ji, 17 km od znamenitosti Planina Mount Hiei i 19 km od znamenitosti Hram... Everything! The facilities were very nice, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I would go back again, it was very relaxing.

Boasting a hot spring bath, Dantokan Kikunoya is located a 5-minute drive from JR Ogoto Onsen Station. Free pick-up from the station is available upon advance request. The staff here are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)

Objekt Ryokan Beniayu smješten je u gradu 'Nagahama', na 26 km od znamenitosti Dvorac Hikone, te nudi smještaj koji sadrži besplatne bicikle, besplatno privatno parkiralište, zajednički salon i... Staff very friendly, helpful and attentive. Especially Ms. Singh, good smiling face and fluent English speaking. Room was spacious and surprised to have a massage chair. Both dinner were delicious.

Objekt 長浜城下 町屋ホテル 和乃リトリートひといき smješten je u gradu 'Nagahama', na 14 km od znamenitosti Dvorac Hikone, te nudi smještaj koji sadrži vrt, besplatno privatno parkiralište, terasu i bar. This was one of the best and aesthetically pleasing stays in my life up to this point. The tastefulness of the room aswell as the whole hotel was truly amazing. The minute I stepped in I knew I had to write something here. The staff also was immensly polite and friendly.

Objekt The Gran Resort Oumi Maiko nalazi se u gradu 'Otsu', na 23 km od znamenitosti Budistički hram Sanzen-in, te nudi smještaj koji sadrži vrt, besplatno privatno parkiralište i bar. Right across from the beach. Had a great Onsen. Good Japanese style breakfast.

Objekt KAMENOI HOTEL Hikone nudi smještaj u gradu 'Hikone', a nalazi se u krugu od 2,7 km od znamenitosti Dvorac Hikone i 6 km od znamenitosti Željeznički kolodvor Maibara. Amazing food, pleasant staff and great onsen. Frequent shuttles to and from train station was a plus.

Objekt Honmachi Juku nalazi se u gradu 'Hikone', na manje od 1 km od znamenitosti Dvorac Hikone, te nudi smještaj koji sadrži vrt, besplatno privatno parkiralište i zajednički salon. The homemade Japanese breakfasts were phenomenal and a very good value. Almost unbelievable. Each day was different, with a healthy balance of vegetables, proteins, and carbs (rice). Authentic, and served by a wonderful woman.
