Marumo Ryokan is an authentic Japanese ryokan and is hands down the best we’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, it is impeccably clean, and the meals are a delicious traditional feast. The hosts are very accommodating and thoughtful. We took the train to Omi-Iwazu and then rode back to Omi-Takashima, where we rented bikes to visit the Shirahige shrine. We also went to Makino to spend some time at the beach. Our entire group of five wished we had planned to stay for 2 or 3 nights instead of one. It was a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the rest of our trip and we would hands down all choose to stay there again!

El Biwako Hanakaido ofrece baños de aguas termales al aire libre y cubiertos, 3 sitios para comer y habitaciones con balcón y vistas al lago Biwako. Nos ha parecido muy buena la experiencia en este Ryokan, eramos 5 personas y la habitación era suficiente, tenía 2 camas y sobre el tatami pusieron 3 futones. Está a 30 minutos en tren de Kyoto, y llamas por teléfono y te vienen a recoger a la estación de Ogotoonsen. Desde las habitaciones se ve el lago. Tienen onsen privados y servicio de masajes, el público es gratuito para los huéspedes. Teníamos incluido una degustación de cena y desayuno japoneses, fue toda una experiencia que la aconsejamos. El personal muy amable y hacen una recepción personalizada para explicar como funciona todo y que horarios se escojen. Para volver, te vuelven a llevar a la estación.

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Cena 10 de 10. El mesero hablaba ingles perfectamente y hasta unas palabras en español nos dio El cuarto super comodo y hay muchas cosas por hacer en el hotel

Yumotokan tiene una ubicación excelente en el barrio de Ogoto Onsen, a 16 km de Templo Enryaku-ji, a 17 km de Monte Hiei y a 19 km de Templo Shoren-in. Ample facilities, with alot of restaurants and onsens. Very helpful staff and always ready to help.

El Dantokan Kikunoya cuenta con un baño termal y se encuentra a 5 minutos en auto de la estación JR Ogoto Onsen. Se ofrece servicio gratuito de recogida en la estación, a pedido. The staff here are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)

Ryokan Beniayu está ubicado en Nagahama, a 26 km de Hikone Castle, y tiene alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, estacionamiento privado gratis, salón compartido y una terraza. El servicio era muy bueno, estaba de cumpleaños y me regalaron un set de sales de baño. Me conmovió mucho ese detalle. El onsen compartido tenia una linda vista y un sauna exquisito, así como buenos productos. La habitación era grande e incluía un sillón de masajes (además del onsen privado) Considero que es un buen hotel y tuvimos una buena experiencia, sin embargo por el rango de precios alojamos en hoteles con más comodidades y que ofrecían buffet de cena incluido.

長浜城下 町屋ホテル 和乃リトリートひといき está ubicado en Nagahama, a 14 km de Hikone Castle, y tiene alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis, una terraza y un bar. Everything was perfect ! Well worth the money

KAMENOI HOTEL Hikone está ubicado en Hikone, a 2,7 km de Hikone Castle y a 6 km de Estación de Maibara. Nice view from the room and bath. Large room. Amazing dinner and service. Pretty much everything.

Honmachi Juku está ubicado en Hikone, a a menos de 1 km de Hikone Castle, y ofrece alojamiento con un jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis y salón compartido. La casa es muy bonita. Es un alojamiento muy especial

Kiyotaki Ryokan está ubicado en Hikone, en la región de Shiga, a 8 km de Santuario Taga-taisha. I absolutely loved my stay at Hikone and Kiyotaki ryokan. The room I stayed in was spacious and smelled of tatami, the bath was newly and renovated and comfortable, there was a small table in room along with a kettle and a teapot set perfect for a cup of tea in the morning. This was both one of my favorite stays in Japan so far as well as one of the cheaper ones. The owner of this ryokan is super friendly well. He gave me tips on what to see as well as a map of local cafes and restaurants and other tourist attractions which he himself helped make. Overall the stay was super friendly and I hope to come back in the future and even book the dinner this time.
