Really enjoyed the amenities, common areas, cabins and of course the onsen baths - both indoor and outdoor experiences!

Featuring a garden, Hakone Onsen Yuyado Yamanoshou is set in Hakone, 200 metres from Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands. This 3-star ryokan features free WiFi. The most memorable hotel we had in Japan! Lovely traditional Japanese Ryokan, for an unforgettable experience. We loved the authentic room and futons, the beautiful and delicious Kaiseki dinner and breakfast. Everything was so special. The private open air Onsen was a real treat, where the whole family could bathe together, which is not common in most onsens that are gender separated. Bus stop is a few minutes walking from thr ryokan. Would love to return!

Clean and big room - very traditional old Japanese style Ryokan; exactly what we have been looking for. Great location too. The staff was fantastic, providing us with tips for the neighbourhood and some interesting Japanese coffee jelly. There is free coffee, tea and water as well at all times. Be sure to reserve breakfast at least a day in advance. We missed it and unfortunately could not get a taste of it (though it looked fantastic).

Featuring a terrace with views of Lake Ashi, Hakone・Ashinoko Hanaori offers a soothing hot spring bath and sauna. The property is situated a 2-minute walk from Togendai Station on Hakone Ropeway. Dinner was very good with lots of choices. Everyone was dressed on traditional Japanese robes that he hotel provided, I didn't expect people to wear to dinner and breakfast. Onsen was very good and clean and provided lots of amenities. Loved the views, absolutely gorgeous

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Breakfast was super good (variety and quality). All staff was very attentive and caring. Onsen was really nice and relaxing.

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. Very friendly front staff who speak English and very helpful.. The Japanese style breakfast (included) is well plated and tasted yummy. We ordered dinner for the first night of stay and were extremely satisfied. It"'s very convenient as the hotel is just in front of the bus stop from Hakone Yumoto station. Actually, I overlooked and forgot the detailed instructions on how to reach the hotel sent by email earlier. 😊. The room is a twin superior room with bath. .I would definitely return when I go there in future. Many thanks also to all the staff who are working hard.behind the scene. 🙌

Viesnīca Hakone Suimeiso atrodas 3 minūšu pastaigas attālumā no dzelzceļa stacijas Hakone Yumoto un 15 minūšu pastaigas attālumā no tempļa Soun-ji. The staff were just wonderful. Beautiful experience in a traditional ryokan with delicious food and a lovely setting. The public and private onsens were beautiful! Great spot for exploring Hakone and the surrounding region.
