Amazing hotel with great hot spring area, staff is extremely friendly. Room with 2 2-level beds exceeded our expectations – cosy, big and with everything we needed. Great cosmetics and additional small details – such as free drink after bath and yummy popsicles. Breakfast was continental, but still pretty good and tasty. Loved our stay

Featuring a garden, Hakone Onsen Yuyado Yamanoshou is set in Hakone, 200 metres from Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands. This 3-star ryokan features free WiFi. Authentic feel of the place and the food, the onsen was also wonderful. Everything was clean, and the traditional beds on the floor were surprisingly comfortable.

Featuring a terrace with views of Lake Ashi, Hakone・Ashinoko Hanaori offers a soothing hot spring bath and sauna. The property is situated a 2-minute walk from Togendai Station on Hakone Ropeway. The hotel is located just by Lake Ashi and it is very convenient to have pirate ship cruise from here. Also, the hotel operates shuttle service for free which made it really easy for us to catch our train from odawara station. The best part about the hotel is the staff which is very helpful and kind.

Our entire experience, since going in through the door, was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and made us feel welcome from the start. We really recommend you make your way to the bar, we had a lot of fun learning about drinks and places to check out when we returned to Tokyo. The room was exceptional and the mountain view was breathtaking. The star of the show, besides the exquisite kaiseki dinner and traditional breakfast, has to be the onsen. The experience of relaxing in the warm waters while watching the fog settle over the mountainside is unforgetable. It is also very easy to get there from the train station at Hakone-Yumoto, as there are very well signaled bus routes that stop conveniently at the door of this ryokan. A final note of thanks to the staff of Hakone Airu for making our honeymoon stay perfect and magical. We will most definitely return!

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Amazing and luxurious hotel. Spread over a large area with a large lobby and seating area. Huge rooms decorated in a traditional and modern style. The hot Onsen bath on the balcony is great fun especially on snowy nights like the one we spent. Excellent breakfast - a large selection with dishes from Japanese and Western cuisine. Great staff that provides professional, friendly and pleasant service.

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. They were very conscientious and made great effort to coordinate multiple reservations to meet our party’s needs.

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. The look, the decoration, the room. The employees were supernice. Even though they wore masks most of the time, there are certain people who somehow can smile with their eyes.
