Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Beautiful ryokan with a private onsen. Perfect location. We had beautiful room with everything we needed and with a beautiful view. The staff was very kind and helpful. I wanted especially thank to the guy that carried our (heavy) suitcases and then called the “car romance” and rescheduled our train. :-) Happy New Year, team !

The breakfast was one of the best ones I ever had! Food was so good, the hotel is very clean and organized. The onsen area is very nice with Hakone milky waters. And specially, their staff is amazing! The girls at the reception were so kind and friendly! Really good service.

Lovely authentic room. The staff were helpful and offered indoor shoes to use in the ryokan. Great showering facilities. Just wish I had read my messages on booking com sooner to organise breakfast! Great recommendations for a ramen place around the corner and some local shops for souvenirs.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Basically everything was great.

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. Definitely recommended! Exceeded our expectations. We had an wonderful time staying in a Japanese room, including traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner. Personnel was kind and helpful, we felt welcome at all times. I would also recommend booking the private onsen before dinner, unique experience at a very reasonable price.

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Excellent stay at the hotel, room was great, they let us drop our luggage before having the room as well as after check out. Great staff, very helpful

Viesnīca Hakone Suimeiso atrodas 3 minūšu pastaigas attālumā no dzelzceļa stacijas Hakone Yumoto un 15 minūšu pastaigas attālumā no tempļa Soun-ji. An absolutely fantastic experience, especially sharing it with my girlfriend! Hakone’s landscapes are stunningly beautiful and unspoiled by modernity, truly living up to every fantasy I’ve ever had of the rural Japanese countryside depicted in anime. After a long, tiring day of walking, we unwound at the hotel with an exquisite kaiseki meal—such a perfect way to refuel. An hour or so after dinner, we used our reservation for a private onsen, and it was an incredible experience. Even though the night air was a little crisp, the water temperature was absolutely ideal, warming us right up. I rinsed off all the day’s sweat first, then sank into the hot spring, and all the fatigue from our travels simply melted away. If we get the chance to visit again and have more time, I’d love to book the private bath for the daytime to soak while taking in the breathtaking natural scenery around us.

Opened in 1878, The Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. Beautiful old property, excellent onsen, great location.
