The staff was very helpful in answering all my questions before we arrived and took very good care of us the four nights I stayed with my daughters at Edo Sakura. And during our stay, we had great breakfast and service. The room was on the smaller side for the three of us, but it was cosy, and we had everything we needed. In a quiet and quaint neighborhood, walking distance to Ueno station, which is bustling and fun.

Situated 200 metres from Choen-ji Temple, 寅ホテル 御徒町 TORA HOTEL Okachimachi in Tokyo features rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. It is set 300 metres from Tokaku-ji Temple and offers a lift. There is a lift so no need to worry about carrying luggage. The room is spacious for 4 people. Everything is available from TV to kitchen cabinet to sofa to 4 comfortable thick beds to washing machine. Location is near to train station and bus stop but oddly enough the place is quiet at night so you can have peaceful sleep. This is a gem!

Viehättävällä paikalla Tokion keskustassa sijaitsevassa cyashitsu ryokan asakusassa on ilmastoidut huoneet, baari, ilmainen WiFi ja yhteinen lounge. Overall, such a unique experience. The attention to detail, professionalism and genuine care of staff made this a wonderful stay! And the traditional breakfast…wow! Even the teenagers loved it. Dinner at the associated restaurant was also delicious. After a long day, it was helpful to have reservations and a short, beautiful walk to unwind. We will definitely return to stay here.

We absolutely loved staying in this very authentic Japanese property! The place is small but everything is so beautifully arranged and organised that it felt much larger. My kids loved the bunk beds that are built into a cupboard in the wall - it was an adventure for them to sleep there! The fridge was stocked with authentic Japanese drinks and snacks which we enjoyed trying out. Everything was incredibly clean and well organised and the host was very attentive and welcoming. The location is also really good - just 10 minutes walk across the river to the Akasuka neighbourhood.

Situated in Tokyo, within 1.5 km of Sensoji Temple and 2.2 km of Tokyo Skytree, Ryokan Nakadaya offers accommodation with a shared lounge. This was booked for my sister who was traveling alone. Her review is: A perfect blend of traditional furnishings (tatami rooms with futons) and modern amenities (showers, fridge, washer, dryer). Whatever extra needs you have, the proprietor, Tatsuo-san, will make it happen. The man never sleeps and makes you feel 100% taken care of. His wife is seldom there, but her hand is felt throughout the house and in the way the place is run. Just follow the (few, reasonable) house rules, and you will have your own perfect quiet island

Takanawa Hanakohro, a Member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World sijaitsee Tokiossa, 2,3 km:n päässä Yebisu Garden Placelta. Hotellissa on ravintola. Hanakohro offered a peaceful and comfortable retreat where time and expenses were never a concern. Everything was taken care of, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy the experience, which included exploring the unique lounges, garden and buildings on the grounds. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding, making us feel at home.
