Close to yamanote line and veeery clean. We had our own bathroom and they provided kimonos for the night which where very comfy. It was raining hard when we arrived and they even offered to dry our shoes. Would definitely come back.

A 2-minute walk from Sendagi Subway Station, Japanese-style hotel Annex Katsutaro Ryokan features rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring and free Wi-Fi internet. It was nice and clean and very good value for money in Tokyo. Ten minutes walk through a pleasant area from Nippori station, so easy to reach places including Narita.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath. Everything was great, amazing hospitality, perfect location. Very clean

Location is nearly perfect, convenience store nearby and easily accessible to Asakusa and Akihabara; both one station away via Tsukuba express. Can also easily access Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Ginza and other popular tourist spots. Shibuya isn’t too far out either. Staff is responsive, showed clear instructions and rules. Would recommend and return to this spot again if another opportunity arises.

The place fits perfectly for a family, it’s cozy, spacious(compared to regular Japanese hotel stay), comfortable and close to convenience stores and Asakusa Sta. We travelled with our two teenagers and they loved the closet style beds. The host was always attentive of our needs and questions. It was indeed a pleasant stay and well recommended for sure.
