Nice Japanese breakfast, friendly staff who could speak English (and French, in the case of one fellow!) if you don't speak Japanese very well (I'm a beginner). The twin room is very nice and comfortable. Easy access to a subway line just a short walk away to a station.

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. The breakfasts were excellent. The staff became like good friends. It felt like more than just a business; the place has heart. The baths were a wonderful option, relaxing and romantic. We absolutely love The Edo Sakura and will be staying there every time we visit Tokyo.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath. The location is incredible in a very walkable neighborhood. Walking distance to Senso-ji. The staff is very kind. The room is simple but nice with tatamis on the floor.

Immaculately cared for with the kindest staff I have ever encountered. You immediately feel at home and taken care of with small touches like skincare in the bathrooms, to big things like the private roof onsen available for free reservation. Fabulous breakfast and we were on our honeymoon so they surprised us with a decorated dessert and Polaroid photo of us!! Over the top kindness that makes me recommend this hotel to everyone and can’t imagine visiting Japan again without staying here.

Situated in Tokyo, within 1.5 km of Sensoji Temple and 2.2 km of Tokyo Skytree, Ryokan Nakadaya offers accommodation with a shared lounge. Great experience - the owner is really kind and even though we prepared extensively for the trip, he still had a lot of useful information for us for almost every district in Tokio. The futons were really comfortable and the bathrooms were in a good state. The location was perfect, close to Minami-Senju station. Overall the place was quite cozy and would recommend to anyone!
