Ito Ryokan is ideaal gelegen in de wijk Chuo (Speciale Wijk) in Tokyo, en ligt op 2 minuten lopen van Amazake Yokocho Shopping Street, 400 meter van Genyadana Monument en 6 minuten lopen van Sankatsu... De originaliteit van een ryokan. Een heerlijk ontbijt gehad! Zo lekker, ondanks het obstakel dat we graag een vegetarisch wilden . Zo hun bedt gedaan, alles was super!?!

The Edo Sakura is geopend in juni 2013, en beschikt over accommodatie in een Japans herenhuis in Machiya-stijl op 5 minuten wandelen van metrostation Iriya en op 10 minuten wandelen van treinstation... Nicely decorated in a traditional Japanese style the building and the bedroom are very cosy. The staff is very kind and always ready to help.

A 2-minute walk from Sendagi Subway Station, Japanese-style hotel Annex Katsutaro Ryokan features rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring and free Wi-Fi internet. The location easy access to main places and the quiet atmosphere around it Very good service and taking good care of guest needs the price was very reasonable

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath. We stayed in the Kiku room. The room size is great for 2 people (about 15 square metres) and very clean. The bathroom is spacious for us. The location is fantastic, so close to Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise Street and the Asakusa train lines (Metro, Toei etc). The lobby has coffee and hot water machines where you can make your coffee and tea. Snacks are also provided. The hotel is also very quiet at night, and the ryokan have a noise curfew policy between 10 pm to 7 am. We are so glad that we chose to stay in the Asakusa area.

寅ホテル 御徒町 TORA HOTEL Okachimachi bevindt zich op 2 minuten lopen van Choen-ji Temple en 300 meter van Tokaku-ji Temple, en heeft kamers met airconditioning en een eigen badkamer in Tokyo. De accommodatie is erg goed, goed onderhouden en schoon. Dichtbij de metro en leuke bezienswaardigheden. Ze hebben sindskort ook een Cafe, waar je heerlijk koffie en sandwich kan kopen, echt een pluspunt!

Cyashitsu ryokan asakusa is aantrekkelijk gelegen in het centrum van Tokyo, en biedt kamers met airconditioning, een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi en een terras. Dit is niet alleen een hotel maar een totaalbeleving. De onsen, slapen op de tatami matten, het ontbijt,… brengen je dicht bij de Japanse cultuur.

Tokyo inn Sakura An is gelegen in Tokyo, op 1 minuten lopen van Tokyo Origami Museum, en biedt gratis fietsen, rookvrije kamers, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. We absolutely loved staying in this very authentic Japanese property! The place is small but everything is so beautifully arranged and organised that it felt much larger. My kids loved the bunk beds that are built into a cupboard in the wall - it was an adventure for them to sleep there! The fridge was stocked with authentic Japanese drinks and snacks which we enjoyed trying out. Everything was incredibly clean and well organised and the host was very attentive and welcoming. The location is also really good - just 10 minutes walk across the river to the Akasuka neighbourhood.

Ryokan Nakadaya biedt accommodatie met een gemeenschappelijke lounge in Tokio, op 1,5 km van de Sensoji-tempel en op 2,2 km van de Tokyo Skytree. Really good value place. The owner speaks english and he has a lot of recommendations for restaurants or just stuff to do in general. Definitely a good place to stay in tokyo.

Het Takanawa Hanakohro, a Member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World ligt in Tokyo, op 2,3 km van Yebisu Garden Place. Dit hotel heeft een eigen restaurant. Hanakohro offered a peaceful and comfortable retreat where time and expenses were never a concern. Everything was taken care of, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy the experience, which included exploring the unique lounges, garden and buildings on the grounds. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding, making us feel at home.

Ryokan Sansuiso heeft gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en kamers met airconditioning in Tokyo. Deze ryokan met 2 sterren biedt een bagageopslagruimte. It is a nice and quaint location. If you are interested in experiencing more traditional Japanese hotel with tatami mats and sleeping on a futon, this is a good option for low price. Naturally it does not provide onsen and the very exotic Ryokan style food service. The owner is really nice. I can only form the most basic Japanese sentences and he does not speak a lot of English, but still we understood each other. Check-in and introductions for the room and the facilities was all done verbally. I only had to rely on a translator app when I requested a taxi to Shinagawa station during check-out. It is not a bad walk, but it was raining so I did not want to get myself and my luggage wet. Taxi fare was 1600 yen. If you are walking to the Ryokan from Shinagawa station, then I recommend planning your route to approach from the south. If you take the slightly smaller street towards the Gotanda Waterfront Plaza, the T-intersection at the end is a very good indicator you are very close by and do not need to worry about walking too far and missing your turn.
