The breakfast looked superb, I can't say what it was like because I only went in for coffee. ( not a fan of Breakfast - rather have a smoke ). Staff were very friendly & helpful but with limited English spoken they still made you welcome and have a great sense of humour. 2 minute walk to the Opera house and the old town & markets/shops & cafes & bars. Kfc, BurgerKing, McDonalds 5 mins away if you are like them. Buses and Trams stops outside

Trooper. Was on the 4th floor and accessible by lift. It was very easy to walk down the stairs to reception. The room was small , compact with a TV and space to store clothes. The bed and sheets were comfortable, very clean. Towels changed daily. There is just a small window which gave good ventilation. But don’t expect a scenic view. The room had a secure lock . On the 3rd floor was a kitchen area with facilities to heat up and store food. Also with coffee and tea provided and a kettle too. On the second floor was an iron and board to use if needed. On arrival the staff receptionist showed me in person to my room and I was given a nice letter to explain facilities and hours when the hotel was open. The hotel is located in the popular passage area with many good bars, places to eat and places for younger people to hang out. The stop for No 1 tram was close by to connect with the train and bus station and the old town which was in walking distance.

Prestigious City of Intellect and Culture
Lviv has so much cultural heritage that words hardly do it justice. It was under Polish, Habsburg and Soviet rule before rejoining Ukraine, and all have left dramatic marks. No fewer than 5 cathedrals grace cobbled streets with attractive parks and elegant buildings worthy of Vienna.
Potocki Palace is a grand former nobleman’s home and the Palace of Siemienski-Lewickis is equally impressive. Kornyakt Palace is a Renaissance jewel that became a royal residence, and the Ensemble of Ruska Street is an eclectic collection of buildings contributing to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic centre.
Lviv University is Ukraine’s oldest and was part of an intellectual circle attracting immigrants which earned the city the nickname of ‘Little Paris’. Shevchenka Avenue is named after Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko and a statue of him sits on a square housing the celebrated Lviv Theatre of Opera and Ballet and Lviv National Museum.
The town hall on Market Square is surrounded by colourful buildings housing shops and cafes, and the castle ruins overlook all of this from High Castle Park.
This is just a snapshot of what the city offers and Booking.com’s great accommodation range helps you discover this and more. The luxury city centre hotels, cheap hostels and apartments near Arena Lviv Euro 2012 football stadium are all easily accessible from the airport.
A city in Western Ukraine but one that is very reminiscent...
A city in Western Ukraine but one that is very reminiscent of other cities of Central Europe of the former Hapsburg Empire. This is very evident on architecture and church buildings. Very many cafes and bars . Buy a Leo card to use the tram transport. I liked the weekend Sunday markets with many things to buy as presents. Many interesting museums with at least two that dealt with tragic events of World War Two and the periods of Nazi and Soviet occupation. The city like others across Ukraine is affected by the war but there were no power cuts while I was there in September 2024.

Lviv is a city of historical significance.
Lviv is a city of historical significance. This can be seen in the buildings and streets of the city. The design of the city is nice. Clean, orderly streets. Cafes and restaurants are open every day from morning until late at night. It is worth visiting these places, if only because you need to relax with a cup of coffee or lemonade while visiting the city.

It`s a fascinating city, gorgeous, with layers of history and culture. It also struck me as very charismatic, a city with its own character, where you want to gaze and gaze to take in all the designs and intricacies of its buildings, cafes and various artefacts. Captivating! You probably need a week to explore all of it.
And of course, you should try Lviv coffee and Lviv chocolate. It`s a must!

Beautiful city, full of charm and fascinating details on every corners. Loads of cafes and restaurants with unique delicious foods, and themed bars for late evenings. Everything you'd want to see is in the city centre so no need to use transport or car, it is completely walkable, the only thing to keep in mind 90% of the roads are cobble stone, so choose comfortable shoes.

There's a war...far to the east. There's a curfew.
There's a war...far to the east. There's a curfew. There are occasional air raid alerts. Doesn't matter. The food is great. Churches and monuments are open. Don't bring high heels. All the streets are cobblestone.

it's small lovely city i have been there for many times every time is like to be as the first, night walk in the city is amazing, the agricultural places tye museum and the traditional things with street music and songs everywhere, people in lviv like to live life to the maximum, they are polite and kind people
Olya, the manager, was absolutely the best I have dealt with in three years of staying in hotels in Ukraine. She was immediately responsive to everything and happy to be of service, and all this kindness in the middle of a war makes it even more pleasurable. The price was very good for 2 bedrooms and was exactly in the middle of the city so there is no problem obtaining anything. There are a huge number of four star restaurants within five minutes.
this was a great place to stay in Lviv.the best was that that have autonomous generator of electricity so no matter what you will be able to work, charge devices and have wifi connection.
also breakfast was included and it was very good.
the capsule was clean and warm. maybe a bit too warm as for my taste, I felt lack of air while sleeping, but opening the door of capsule helped, so it was ok
one of the best capsule hotel in Ukraine
The place was amazing, in the center of Lviv where you are close to the best restaurants, bars and museums. Need to remind the future guests that the hotel has a great restaurant, nice wine list and cocktail bar.
Staff was amazing and very polite, the housekeeping also, they made us feel very comfortable. Room, just no words because it was exceptional. I thank a lot the whole staff for the stay.
This is probably the ONLY staff that will bring your things to your car in a "dirty laundry" bag after you checked out and on your tour while the car is still parked at the hotel. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Also - apart from this - since it's not the first time in the Swiss hotel - I love everything about it - location, interior, mood, style, vibe - nowhere else it can be as good as here.
The hotel staff was really helpful and friendly. The location is not the bad and it took me 30 min by walk from the railway station to get there. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Because of the Ukraines war most of the hotel was full booked in Lviv and i was lucky to book the room last minute. Overall i enjoyed my stay here.
