One of the greenest cities l have ever visited. Very friendly people. One should stay near the Panfilova park which is a very beautiful big park with the tallest wooden church in the world. Must visit Shimbulak with its ropeway which takes you to the snowy mountain peaks.

Otherwise, the country is very clean and safe but it needs improvement in the touristic areas. Not to miss - lakes , canyons and the ski resort area Local food for hardcore non vegetarians - must try Pulov , horse meat , dumplings, and fresh fruit and juices . Locals are helpful , friendly and welcoming, keep your language translator app on !!! Very few people speak English .
