Prague was a fun city to visit.
Prague was a fun city to visit. I went on a lads holiday and there was something for everyone there. The architecture, monuments, and views are brilliant and worth exploring. Old Town Square was definitely a highlight. Prague Castle was incredible; it's so high up that it seems to overlook the whole of Prague.
It's so easy to get around Prague. All of the city centre/old town is walkable. The castle is further away, but probably about a 30 minute walk from the city centre. Ubers are very cheap as well, maybe 200Kc for 4 people on average. I strongly recommend using the Lime scooters, as they are cheap to use and so much fun. You can see the city 4x faster than if you walked around all day. The downside is they're meant for the road, which can be tricky to navigate sometimes. Driving on the pavement is easier, but you will likely get told off by the locals. Use wisely!
Food is cheap; on average we spent 300Kc on a meal at a restaurant, which is about £10. Add a drink or two and you will find yourself spending no more than £15 on lunch/dinner, which is class in my opinion.
Prague also boasts two big nightclubs, Karlovy Lazne and Duplex. Both were great, but for the best experience go on a Friday/Saturday. It's also worth noting that we felt very safe walking around all parts of Prague, even at night.
We left this holiday satisfied, as we explored a lot and did many activities. But from things I've heard and seen online there were hundreds of things we missed! It's safe to say that if you visit Prague, you will never run out of things to do.

Prague is one of the most beautiful cities we have visited in Europe. People are very friendly and welcoming. One extra bonus is we got to ride the metro for free since we are senior citizens. No other country that we’re aware of extend this privilege to seniors.

Stayed 5 days in Prague and visited different sites.
Stayed 5 days in Prague and visited different sites. The city is beautiful along history. I typically love its architecture which really amazing. The only thing is that met some drunkard on some streets in the old town area which may cause me a bit fear. Visited Prague Castle and it was really amazing and worthwhile for the trip.

Lovely old city with so many beautiful buildings - easy to walk it.
Suggest avoiding booking the 'hop-on-hop-off' bus tours from the sales people holding the red umbrellas - chaotic, unreliable and they don't mention you need to download an app to receive any info. We spent much of the one full round trip we managed to achieve (on a two day ticket) having to look at the phone rather than the sights trying to fathom what to do. And even when I'd done this it didn't compare in my book to that 'old-school' method of just plugging in headphones and immediately hearing the running commentary in your chosen language! We spent several hours in the old square just waiting for a bus that didn't turn up.
The 'blue' line bus tour on this ticket actually ended up being just a single people carrier that you have to 'book'. To be fair, the boat trip on this ticket did happen and was lovely but suggest you go for the CityTours(?) hop-on one you book at the booth in the square (or prob from your hotel)!
Although I'm super careful I still had my purse stolen from my backpack by the bridge near the Castle (can happen in any city, I know) - so caution there.
Beautiful old city though and certainly worth a visit

We loved the architecture and choice of restaurant offering different styles of food. Do try Czech food. Basic but yummy. Jazz boat cruise with female singer was a great evening.
We arrived on a Sunday evening. The town was quiet and clean till Saturday when there were large groups of people there enjoying the ice hockey championships and hen/stag do's. There was no trouble.
There were a variety of concerts in the various churches. We went to see the Prague Philly in Tyn Church. Brilliant!
We used 'walk with locals' for a trip round Prague castle - more expensive than big tours but so informative and gave a great insight into life in Prague in the middle ages and before and after communism. its just your group - there was just me and him - it was fantastic.
We went to see the Church of Bones. Well worth that too but it does take 1.5hrs to get there. Wear comfy shoes and walk. Its a wonderful way of doing 23000 steps every day and seeing everything!!
Absolutely loved Prague. Hope you do too!
I was so happy to stay at the Michelangelo Grand. The location is great. The tram and subway are less than a block away. There is a shopping center with groceries across the street. And there is a delicious Italian restaurant on the corner. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the Old Town Square. I thought the breakfast was fantastic with lots of yummy choices including scrambled eggs, pastries and fruit. The hotel made me a breakfast to go when I had to leave early for my flight. I would definitely stay there again.
The location is great - only 5 minutes walk to the Old Town Square. Reception staff and breakfast staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The breakfast room was staffed so well and the staff were extremely efficient in clearing and setting tables. They also checked food levels - one of the best run breakfast rooms we have encountered. Our room was a good size. Hotel is extremely clean. Next time we are in Prague would definitely stay here.
Great location for exploring old town. Prague is not a big city so you can practically walk everywhere. I love how a few mins walk will take me to the Old Town Square or Charles Bridge. Nadroni is also a short walk - plenty of great cafes and restaurants there. The hotel offers a complimentary drink (sparkling wine) upon checking in. Room is quaint and spacious with ample wardrobe space. Bathroom is very spacious, shame there wasn't a tub.
We were a group of four people and booked a 2-bedroom duplex suite. We chose this hotel because it was best value for money (including breakfast), and for its central location 1 minute walk from Charles Bridge and a mere 5-8 minute walk from old town square / astronomical clock / lady of tyn cathedral.
Rooms and beds were very comfortable / beddings and towels changed daily / breakfast buffet had a rich variety of items and was tasty
The location of the hotel is excellent as it is in a street close to many shops, cafes. The old town hall with the astronomical clock in the Old Town Square is only a short walk as is many museums and theatres. Our room was very comfortable and a good size. We had no view but there was no noise at night so we decided this was an advantage.
Everything was great. The staff was very pleasant, the room clean and tidy. Parking in the hotel garage is available for an additional fee and cannot be reserved, so you need to be lucky to find a free spot. The breakfast is excellent. The location is perfect, half a minute from Powder Gate and 3 minutes from Old Town Square.
We had a great stay in the hotel. Our room was very big and convenient. The location of the hotel is perfect, only a few minutes and you are right at the old town square. The breakfast was fresh and had a lot of choices. The staff is super customer friendly and we felt very welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is great. Central, just 3 minutes to the Old Town Square. The room is comfortable, nicely decorated, the windows are gorgeous, I had four in my room :) The view from the corner room is very lovely. All as I expected. The staff is really great, they helped me with everything I asked for. Highly recommend.
The staff were so friendly and overall customer experience was excellent. The hotel room was much nicer than I had expected and very clean. The cleaners provided clean towels each morning too. Walking distance to major attractions and the Old Town Square. Would recommend to everyone.
Convenient location. Few minutes away from 2 different metro stations as well as tram stop. Breakfast had good selection and good quality food. A few minutes walk away from Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Many restaurants near by the hotel.
Prague is a beautiful city to visit with fair prices and great services. The hotel is nice and cozy, just within minutes from the old town square. The breakfast is amazing with a wide range, and the Staff is simpli the best I’ve ever met
Excellent location. Ten minute walk from train station. Close to old town Square. Large mall next door with restaurants. Hop on hop off a 5 minute walk from hotel.
All in all an excellent facility
The hotel was really nice and the room was a good size. The staff were super helpful when we had questions or needed help. It was also a great location and a short walk to Old Town Square.
The hotel has excellent location, 2 min walk from the old town square and it's in a quiet alley. The room was specious and clean. The breakfast was good and the staff were very polite.
Perfect location only 2 minutes walk to the Old Town Square. Very quiet despite a room overlooking the main entrance to the hotel and close to the elevators. Comfortable bed.
The property was clean and situated 10 minutes walk from the Old Town square. There was a big trade Center next to the hotel and lots of shops in the main road.
