This was our last night to Prague before we flew home and it was just perfect, I booked a large room so we could spread out and repack and there was plenty of space. On arrival we were greeted by the most delightful man who spoke perfect English so sorry I did not get his name, he recommended 1/2 dozen attractions to visit. We ate in the restaurant and the food was first class and the staff were fantastic, we really enjoyed our evening. We had been on the road for 7 weeks so the pool was heaven sent. A super enjoyable stay, probably more a business hotel and don't be put off by the exterior the inside is very 4*

Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.
The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Anything between a minimum of 5 days and maximum of 10 days...
Anything between a minimum of 5 days and maximum of 10 days would cover the majority of Prague, Whether you are a history buff, art lover, night-life enjoyer or a very casual tourist, you should be able to get a good feel for the city if you spend about 5+ days.
I preferred to enjoy most of the cultural and touristy things while also trying out restaurants to sample the local cuisine. On average, I visited about 4 things/day (this means museums/galleries/organised tours) and if you're not one to do this and would prefer just to take in the sights from outside, rather than going inside, then you can probably cut to 3 days itinerary and enjoy the river cruise, the plazas and squares, the architecture and winding streets.
However, if you do like history and art, you should plan for 2 days just to visit the Prague Castle which is a cluster of buildings where you can easily see 10+ of them, each taking at least 1h. Then, you should probably have 2 days for the city-centre which includes many city gates (towers), churches/synagogues and some museums and galleries.
As for food, you can try Lokal (good no-frills food, on a budget), U Parlament (you might have to wait for a table but the food is pretty good, also nothing fancy).

Prague is unique: A well preserved relic of the old Europe that connects well with ideas for the new Europe.
There are far too many tourists shoving along the old town square all the way across Charles Bridge up Mala strana. And yet, this city never seems to lose its charme and keeps beckoning to come back for more.
Somehow, everything you might ask for seems to be right at hand.
People who live here tend to be sophisticated and helpful.
The outside of this hotel looks like nothing special, but inside it's full of beautiful, old-world elegance. The view from our room over the river was wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, with an easy walk to many attractions including the Charles Bridge, and Christmas markets in the Old Town Square. If travelling light, it's a nice walk through the back streets (2km, about 20 minutes) to the main railway station of Praha hl.n.
All the staff were super nice and helpful. We were travelling with 3 kids and a dog and had plenty of space in our room which was also very clean. We found a complimentary bottle of red wine, one of Rose, a chocolate heart and a hand written note to celebrate Valentine´s Day! Great breakfast and afternoon snack included in the room price. Location is great, 10 min walk to the Old Town Square. Free parking! We had a wonderful stay and recommend the hotel!
Hotel is well located opposite to Central station and major attractions, old town square, Wenceslas square etc. can be reached walking for 10-15 mins Max. It's very convenient. Rooms are basic but has everything that we need. Breakfast was great. Staff is really helpful. They provided me information on where to eat, what to see, where to exchange money etc. They even helped me with changing big amount of CZK into small money. It was a fabulous stay
This is a gem of a hotel in Prague. The room was large and comfortable, breakfast was hearty and service was wonderful. The best thing about it was the location, right next to Old Town Square and Charles Bridge very close by. We easily walked to all the tourist attractions - they were only 20 minutes away at the most. Nice restaurants and shops also were close by.
The modern vibe of the hotel (and room) was very pleasent, the check-in process was also very quick. The shower and additional shampoo was of great quality! The room was clean and the location is not too far from the old town square (30 minutes by foot).
This is my second experience in Grandium hotel. Hotel is perfect. Location, price, cleanness, breakfast, room were excellent. It is close to old town and city center by walk. Undoubtedly this is the best 5 star centrally hotel in Prague with this price.
Super friendly, clean and quiet hotel. The room was spacious, and bed very large and very comfortable.
Location is perfect - a few minutes walk from the metro station in one direction, a few minutes walk to the old town square in the other!
The hotel has been beautifully modernized, and our room was large, comfortable, and air conditioned. The hotel is in a great quiet neighborhood with many great restaurants but just a short walk to the old town square.
BEST. BOOKING. EVER.
we were shocked how good the hotel looked and was, EXCELLENT(!) value for money. honestly. and an easy 4/5 minute walk from the old town square.
honestly, 100% booking again when next in Prague!
The hotel has an excellent location very close to the old Town Square. Breakfast is nice. If you are lucky enough to get a room on the highest floors you yet nice views of the city. The staff is kind and friendly.
The hotel is centrally located with just a few steps away from the Old town square. Staff are very accommodating. They let us check in early. Rooms are spacious and the bathroom is like in a spa.
The location is amazing- you are literally 3 minutes from the old town square and 10 minutes from The Charles Bridge. Couldn’t recommend the location of the hotel enough!
Environment inside look like 5 star Hotel , big room. Clean. Friendly staff. Modern Design. Near the main attractions like Old town . Room rate also cheap.
