The frontage is deceptive because it doesn't look very inviting but when you go through the entrance area into the hotel lobby it's modern, elegant and very pleasing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, our room bright and airy and there was a kettle for tea/coffee making, an ironing board and a large bathroom with lots of hot water and good water pressure. The taxi service to and from the airport was excellent.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.
Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Lovely old city with so many beautiful buildings - easy to walk it.
Suggest avoiding booking the 'hop-on-hop-off' bus tours from the sales people holding the red umbrellas - chaotic, unreliable and they don't mention you need to download an app to receive any info. We spent much of the one full round trip we managed to achieve (on a two day ticket) having to look at the phone rather than the sights trying to fathom what to do. And even when I'd done this it didn't compare in my book to that 'old-school' method of just plugging in headphones and immediately hearing the running commentary in your chosen language! We spent several hours in the old square just waiting for a bus that didn't turn up.
The 'blue' line bus tour on this ticket actually ended up being just a single people carrier that you have to 'book'. To be fair, the boat trip on this ticket did happen and was lovely but suggest you go for the CityTours(?) hop-on one you book at the booth in the square (or prob from your hotel)!
Although I'm super careful I still had my purse stolen from my backpack by the bridge near the Castle (can happen in any city, I know) - so caution there.
Beautiful old city though and certainly worth a visit

We loved the architecture and choice of restaurant offering different styles of food. Do try Czech food. Basic but yummy. Jazz boat cruise with female singer was a great evening.
We arrived on a Sunday evening. The town was quiet and clean till Saturday when there were large groups of people there enjoying the ice hockey championships and hen/stag do's. There was no trouble.
There were a variety of concerts in the various churches. We went to see the Prague Philly in Tyn Church. Brilliant!
We used 'walk with locals' for a trip round Prague castle - more expensive than big tours but so informative and gave a great insight into life in Prague in the middle ages and before and after communism. its just your group - there was just me and him - it was fantastic.
We went to see the Church of Bones. Well worth that too but it does take 1.5hrs to get there. Wear comfy shoes and walk. Its a wonderful way of doing 23000 steps every day and seeing everything!!
Absolutely loved Prague. Hope you do too!

There are beautiful churches although you won’t understand a word of the Mass.
There are Catholic Churches opposite a Hussite Church called St Nicholas, John Huss having been burned at the stake by the same Catholics. How times have changed for the better. Check out the history Museum at the top of Wenceslas Sq to see how sad that Thirty Years War was; one third of the population of Central Europe being wiped out.
Some Czech cooking is rough and ready, at least one I got of pork knuckle which I think is smoked roasted. It can look an off-putting black colour and mine was very dry rather than moist and succulent. But it is a traditional dish and may be the way it was done since The Thirty Years War time.
I have never seen so many trams in a city, nearly tramlines on every street, so be careful not to be run over by a tram.

Lots of things to see. A few tourist trap like things around as you would expect.
Pretty busy this trip being spring. In the winter months its Little quieter but still nice.
Very tolerant city, I think.
Cobble stone walking paths not so great on bad knees but it is a historic city.
Take the usual travel precautions walking around. I felt safe at night in the main areas.

Beautiful clean city, lots of beautiful architecture, so many sights to see powder tower, old town square, Wenceslas square, Petrin tower, dancing house, Charles bridge, head to the tv tower for the most amazing view of the city.
The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the main train and main bus station in Prague, so used Google navigator for that which wasn't bad. It's also very close to the astronomical clock off the main old town square, so that makes it easy too. Check in and check out were quick, and one of the front desk folks always seemed to speak English which was great. Room was very clean and what we expected for the price.
Room was lovely, overlooking a small square and you could see church towers. The walls are 2 feet thick so very quiet. Reception desk staff were wonderful! Iana was very helpful. We loved the welcome gifts, very thoughtful.
Location of the hotel is perfect. We easily walked everywhere. It is only 75 yards from the old town square. Would definitely stay there, room 22, again.
Breakfast buffet was remarkable.
The location is great, you can walk Old Town Square from the hotel. The room is quite large and clean. If you are obsessed with cleanliness, you can choose this hotel comfortably. There is no reception so you can take your hotel key automatically, so I didn't wait for check-in. You can put your baggage directly and start enjoying the city. This hotel will be my choice when I go to Prague again.
This is a gem of a hotel in Prague. The room was large and comfortable, breakfast was hearty and service was wonderful. The best thing about it was the location, right next to Old Town Square and Charles Bridge very close by. We easily walked to all the tourist attractions - they were only 20 minutes away at the most. Nice restaurants and shops also were close by.
Unique lovely hotel, excellent room with large comfortable bed, private ensuite with great shower, everything spotlessly clean, fantastic and helpful staff, great location near old town square. The breakfast was good and the restaurant and bar top notch with great food, beer and very reasonable prices. If I go back to Prague this is where I will stay
The location itself is great, it's close to many public transport stations (for both Tram and Metro). The hotel is a walking distance from the old town square, Charles bridge and many other locations. On the inside, the beds are comfortable, the showers have adequate pressure and water temperature 24/7.
Good location:- the hotel is fairly close to the metro station + there is a metro stop just outside the hotel. If you prefer walking, you can walk to the old Town Square in about 15 mins. There are also a lot of restaurants (and a shopping centre with a food court) within walking distance to the hotel.
The location is good and approximately a 10 minute walk from old town square. The hotel is nice and clean with good food and nice, spacious rooms which are kept maintained and replenished during your stay.
The staff are friendly and helpful with knowledge of the city and nothing is too much trouble.
Everything. If I could rate this hotel as 20/10 I would. The location is simply amazing - right on the old town square. Literally a few minutes by foot to each direction to reach all of the city’s famous sights. The breakfast is truly magnificent. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended!!!!
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel is close to the main train station and to the old town square and despite being at a very busy intersection the room was very quiet. No street noise. Breakfast was ok too. The hotel itself it's beautiful, well lit and nicely decorated.
Convenient location. Few minutes away from 2 different metro stations as well as tram stop. Breakfast had good selection and good quality food. A few minutes walk away from Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Many restaurants near by the hotel.
Location is great. The hotel is right next to a metro station and the trams leave from close by. The old town square is 5 minute walk away. Room was very basic, but I didn't need anything else than a bed and a clean bathroom!
An apartment with a hotel-like feel that included a few pluses, like an espresso coffee machine with coffee. It was a short walk from the Old Town Square and there were shops and restaurants nearby.
The hotel has excellent location, 2 min walk from the old town square and it's in a quiet alley. The room was specious and clean. The breakfast was good and the staff were very polite.
The hotel has a fantastic location, only a 10 minute walk to the Old Town Square. The staff were lovely and the breakfast very good. Our room was nice and quiet at night.
