Excellent central location just off one of the main streets but in a lovely quiet park area. Room was a good size with a nice view overlooking the park. There were no tea/coffee facilities but it did have a fridge with complimentary bottled water. Breakfast was a good choice of hot and cold continental options which was restocked regularly. All the staff were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

With a dome reminiscent of Brunelleschi’s "The Duomo" in Florence, the Hungarian parliament building is undoubtedly the icon of Budapest. It sits majestically by the Danube, the river that both divides and unifies the 2 parts of this capital city: Buda and Pest.
Overseeing Budapest from its vantage point on Castle Hill is Buda Castle. Spectacularly lit at night, it offers the best views across this attractive city steeped in World Heritage. Some unique points of interest are Heroes Square and the Museum of Terror, reminders of the city’s more turbulent past.
Much like in Vienna further up the Danube, coffee and cake is practically an institution in Budapest. And there’s nowhere better to try this than Gerbeaud - the elaborate décor alone makes this café well worth a visit.
To really feel like a local, make a trip to the thermal baths. The relaxed Gellért Baths are a triumph of Art Nouveau grandeur, while based on their sheer size, you can't miss the outdoor Széchenyi Baths. If unusual nightlife is your thing, the club nights at these baths are great fun.
With an impressive range of Budapest hotels, apartments and hostels on offer in this city of 2 halves, Booking.com makes your choice completely easy.

Unlike other big European cities, Budapest does not offer city wide or city centre wifi. I would invest in buying a plan before I went from my home country just to be able to order Ubers or taxis. We were stranded several times without wifi and. Plant get home late at night. Places like McDonald’s, did not even offer free wifi. Very frustrating

Metro, tram or bus, any means of transport you choose is fast, accurate and works perfectly.
Restaurants with local food are the best! Try local food don't eat what you eat at home and enjoy in every bite.
When you walk around the city, soak up the beauty of the architecture with your eyes. If you're on vacation, don't run, you won't have time to see everything anyway.

3-4 days is enough main historical places and a city tour.
3-4 days is enough main historical places and a city tour. It is a very crowded city. Forint is the main payment method but almost all facilities and shops has POS devices to pay with credit card and also you can pay with Euro. Prices are a bit expensive than expected at restaurants.
Transportation is mostly used by metro and tram. Also there are many buses. You can use budapestgo application for road mapping and buying tickets. For city travel automated tickets system is avialable at each station also.

Budapest was lovely, the public transport system is fabulous, people are generally okay treating tourists, the castle district is hustling and bustling during the day and the pest side has such fun night life. Szimpla Kert was a total vibe - loved visiting there. The chain bridge is amazing.
We missed the hot springs this time but will surely try that next time as well as travel a little outside Budapest to the smaller towns.

Must see Fisherman's Bastion, Budapest: Nighttime or Daytime Sightseeing Cruise, Buda Castle, Heroes' Square.
Buy a card foe 72 hours from machine inside the metro and is very easy to get around city. (is for all kind of transport price 5500 forints or around 14 euro per person)
I liked the breakfast, simple but with variety of salty and sweet options. I liked the room and the hall. The best part was the location. Near the metro and Liszt museum ,great connection with the airport bus(no need to change line), close to the park and some of the baths, close to hidden but maybe even better restaurants, better overall than staying in front of the central road with the traffic. Great staff. Better internet connection that some other hotels in Budapest. Surprisingly I loved the fact that they gave me an actual key! :)
The hotel is just great: clean, spacious, bright. You can feel that everything is new here and designed with a good taste. It is very convenient to have a kitchen with full equipment: even a filter for water is there. The host - Alex, is the best you can wish for: always there to help. Even by the phone. Speaks Russian, so my parents were just happy about it :)
We ordered the rooms with a breakfast at Astoria hotel nearby and enjoyed it too.
I have no problem staying at places like Budapest Global Suites permanently!
The location of this hotel is perfect for a trip to Budapest. Took the bus from the airport to the city centre and then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. So close to absolutely everything we walked everywhere the whole weekend. Very modern and contemporary design. Super clean and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and the breakfast was lovely with nothing to complain about. We would deffo book here again if we come back to Budapest and will recommend to family and friends.
We very much enjoyed staying with Metropolis Budapest. The room was great with beautiful wallpaper and nice decorations. Everything we needed was there. The staff were kind and very helpful. The location was also great - close to ruin bars and great restaurants. The walking distance from the hotel to the city centre was also fine - about 15-20 min. All in all we were very pleased with Metropolis and will recommend this nice hotel to other visitors in Budapest.
After reading the reviews I went there expecting the worst. But I was surprised. It is not a 5 stars hotel, but it's maybe the best price in Budapest. Yes, there is a smell in the bathroom, but it's the smell of descaler. Which means there is intense cleaning. The bathroom vent does not work very good.
But...the room is big, location very good, close to center, parking underground for 10 euros, really good and relaxed staff.
Very good breakfast also.
This small apartment has everything you need for your stay in Budapest. The location is great with busses conneiing to the city centre just a short walk away. One of the best public baths with thermal springs is also really close. The apartment itself is super clean and the bed is very comfy. Check-in and out is super easy. The host is super nice, arranged for an early check-in and was overall super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!
Located 10 minutes walking to center, perfectly clean (thank you Ms Anna) & friendly staff (thank you Ms Petra). Comfortable bed, enough space in room/bathroom. Good places for coffee or dinner around the hotel, if going to other side (Buda castle) taxi is around 8€. Garage parking included. Modern style design. I would say in Budapest it is the best value for money hotel and with few amenities like jacuzzi it could easly be a 5* hotel :)
Absolutely fantastic hotel. The rooms are huge, and brilliantly decorated. Hotel is centrally located, and although city centre in the busy Pest side of the city, the windows were quad insulated - no noise whatsoever.
Staff were excellent, and overly helpful. Genuinely fantastic hotel. I will return to this hotel when I return to Budapest in the future for work or holidays.
Everything! The Mystery Hotel was a joy to stay in from start to finish. The staff were brilliant and took very good care of us, nothing was too much hassle for them. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the local sparkling wine! The room itself was pretty much perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Great location for all of Budapest city centre too.
The hotel is in a very handy location for the main areas of Budapest - very close to the Castle area and just across Elizabeth Bridge to the city centre. The hotel is very quiet and also close to many parts of the (very efficient) transport network, with tram and bus stops only a few minutes' walk away. Breakfast was good and set us up well for the day!
Best value for money in Budapest in my opinion.
We’ve been in a few places, and closed our 2 months trip in two weeks in Escala.
The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was great, but the highlight of this hotel is the staff members.
Not only they take their jobs very seriously, it seems like they really like what they are doing.
1. Hotel's proximity to Budapest' #1 shopping district and restaurants "Vaci Utca" is exceptional!
2. Little things like free use of umbrella, free refills of drinking water and many selection of 24 hour free coffee (cappuccino, espresso, latte, maciatto) make this hotel the best!
3. Rooms are modern and very clean
4. Nice little gym
We stayed at this hotel for the second time and again everything was great. Everyone is so nice and helpful, breakfasts are great! Room is nice and silent. Location of the hotel is really good and you can walk to the city centre without using public transport. When we will go to Budapest again our hotel choice is clear!
Excellent hotel, good location in the city centre, 15 min walk from Parliament or Gerbeaud caffe. Very kind and helpful stuff. Everything is very clean, comfortable beds and breakfast for everyone’s taste.
I would gladly recommend Radisson Blu hotel to anyone traveling to Budapest!
The hotel was so amazing, clean and the location was perfect, in the city centre. I will choose this hotel every time. The girls of the staff was amazing so nice and educated. I loved everything about my stay in The Loft Budapest. Hope to return soon
Wonderful hotel with nice and clean rooms in a historical building made modern. Breakfast was great and I recommend it for a weekend getaway in Budapest. Location is good. You can visit the center on foot, or take a metro from the nearby station.
Comparing to other hotels in Budapest City Center, this hotel offers the best price. The room was so big and comfortable. It was better than I expected. If I travel again to Budapest I will stay at this hotel again. Greetings from Azerbaijan!
It's a great hotel if you are coming to Budapest by car since it has ample parking space, and if you plan on driving to the city centre. It's a clean, comfortable hotel at a good price.
Simply the best hotel in Budapest. Period. Aurea for the win - as always. I regularly stay at this hotel, and it never disappoints. This hotel is the definition of a perfect service.
