I can honestly say this was the best hotel I’ve stayed at in China! Michelle and her team were absolutely amazing – they didn’t make me feel like just a guest, but more like a friend or even family. They were always patient, kind, and genuinely eager to help with anything. The food at the hotel was so delicious that I never even felt the need to eat outside. On top of that, they can arrange trips for you with a driver at very fair prices, which made exploring the area so easy and stress-free. My room had a stunning view, and the whole place is incredibly peaceful and quiet – perfect for rest and relaxation. To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting. It’s a true gem! Greetings from Gregorio and Marcin (Martino).

Best hotel I've been to in China so far and one of the best ever in my travels. The location is amazing, the room with a view on the mountains is insane. The manager, Xiao Ming, Is the kindest person on earth, generous, friendly and always at your disposal, day and night. Never found such a service in my entire travel life. He provides everything you need, he books for you tours, local guides, free pickup from Guilin station. Breakfast is good, western or eastern as you please. Free electric bikes and scooters are available for use if you want to wander in the city and the landscape: what a blast. The atmosphere is relaxed and slow but lively, and you can meet friends here. Restaurants nearby are also very good. And it's also very cheap!

Very friendly and helpful staff, boss Jane is a very nice lady. Driver Leo speaks prefect English, and he gave us an informative introduction about the city during the drive. The Vale Inn is located in a small quiet village and not far away from the city centre. Recommended place to stay in Guilin.

The rooms are beautiful (Chinese style) and spacious. The homestay is located close by the Guilin city center but on a calm isle where you can find many restaurants and a running/biking lane. The staff was adorable, greeting us in the middle of the night when we arrived, helping us put together an itinerary, showing us around. We were only there for three days but it it felt like a stay with friends or family. Definitely would recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for the second time and it was equally good. Slightly smaller room than the one assigned last time but still very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and nice balcony. Staff is very helpful, especially Ryan who helped us organising the Li river cruise and perfectly managing a special delivery for us from Beijing. The only suggestion we can make is to have someone to help with the luggage up the stairs from the taxi to the reception, but we managed. If ever in Guilin again we will definitely stay here!

A wonderful staff member collected us from the train station and provided us with water on arrival. We arrived before check in time, however the staff member brought out fruit for our children whilst we waited. They then also carried out bags up to our room for us also. Our room was incredible. The views from the room were beautiful and the room it's self was very spacious and clean. Beds were very comfy also. The balcony was wonderful with lovely seating. The bath overlooking the mountains was wonderful, our children particularly enjoyed this. Breakfast throughout our stay was delicious and freshly cooked with a lovely variety. On our final morning we heading down for breakfast- it was very heavy rain. We were met at the door to the rooms by a staff member with umbrellas and again they helped with our bags. Staff helped us book a driver for the day so we could visit longji rice terraces. They also offered advice on other areas when asked, and gave us some good tips etc. The reed flute caves are within walking distance from the hotel, elephants trunk and the sun and moon pagodas are around 20mins drive away. Longji rice terraces and Yangshuo are about 2 hours drive away. However with a driver booked for the day these trips are made far easier! We did it with 2 young children who also found it wonderful! This is a beautiful hotel, the attention to detail, hard work and hospitality is incredible. Felt like a home from home! We really hope to return in the future and our only regret would be not booking to stay longer this time!

Breakfast was great,with a lot of variety,a spacious room, a large window, and it was clean. I particularly like the hotel swimming pool and gym. Friendly staff. All good,I'll definitely recommend it to everyone!
