Beautiful hotel. Room was cleaned daily with lot of amenities (water, tea, coffee) replenished daily. Staff was super helpful and speaks english. I suggest to book the transfer to and from the station/airport with them as it's often difficult to find a didi/taxi.

It's the ultimate Chinese courtyard experience. The staff is very helpful and the location right in the centre but still shielded from the hustle and bustle of the main streets is beyond perfect.

Short walkable distance to the old town southern gate, yet with privacy and quietness and distance away from the chaotic crowds from the main streets. The owners are authentic and genuinely helpful. Housekeeping was timely and heart warming local breakfasts were offered every day, alternating between "xi zhou baba" and rice noodles. The owner offered complimentary pick up from train station and helped to arrange a car at affordable price to send us off. Overall a pleasant stay.

The staff was very friendly. Helped us to rent a bike, to order a share car to Lijiang. The location is great, 5 min walking to the main gate of Old Town of Dali. They change bedsheets and towels everyday, yet give a bottle of water every day as well.

The hostel is very beautiful, the staff is very helpful to me. The price is very affordable and the location is near ancient town. There are many international guests there.

The hotel is brand new and beautifully decorated. The room has a modern vibe, with excellent facilities—spacious, comfortable, and extremely satisfying to stay in. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. The location is great: peaceful despite being in a lively area, and it's easy to get to various nearby attractions by ride-share service or taxi.

Very lovely large room. It is super clean and very comfortable. The lights and blinds are operated electronically which when you get used to that is OK (although I never could get the outside light to go off, thankful for blackout blinds). The toilet automatically flushes (weirdly, when you first sit as well as when you get up). Lucky I was alone in the room as I would have found it a bit annoying in the middle of the night had someone else used it. I liked the low blue light that showed you where the toilet was at night. The housekeeper is delightful but very talkative (in person and via messages, she did warn me). Communication was only via phone translation or We Chat. She is very ‘hands on’ when making sure you know or have everything you need (including doing my washing!) Their driver is great too. My room was next to the breakfast/lobby area and they had nicely provided earplugs beside my bed but as breakfast begins at 8.30, I didn’t need them. Then. Later in the day was a bit different. The aircon works well. Also worth noting that there is a beautiful deep bath and it fills quite quickly. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the Ancient Town. Free pick up from the airport was most appreciated. Lastly, I didn’t only give them ten stars because they asked me to (I find being asked to give a ten star review a bit weird, if not rude tbh, and usually don’t just because of that).

Really nice host who makes you feel welcomed and with whom you can get into good conversation with. Comfortable rooms and also not a lot of rooms, which makes the place feel kind of like a home. Also located in a good area - not too far away from the busy areas but still quiet.

Lovely hotel in excellent location. The staff were very nice and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious!
