There was a separate kitchen area (shared) where you could cook meals when and if you so desired. There was a large frig in the kitchen for those wishing to keep food there. An excellent IGA supermarket was only 5 minutes away in Penneshaw. The callistemons and other flowers at the front of the property attracted quite a number of birds and it was a pleasure to sit out on the front patio and watch them.
