Peaceful getaway and the fire pit was awesome, host was responsive and helpful too

Tiny in stature, big on warmth, big comfy bed, hot shower with decent water pressure, and a great host.

Very convenient location - it was only a few minutes drive to Ballarat central, it was surprisingly quiet considering it was just off a major thoroughfare too! The check in and check out was easy and smooth, we had to leave very early the following day and it was a simple case of drop the key card off in the box on the way out. Plenty of room for my family, beds were comfy, no complaints at all! Did exactly what we wanted the room to do.

Very comfortable, spacious and clean unit. Loved the little snacks left for us and a good variety of tea and coffee. Toys and board games available to use too- very family friendly! A quiet location but close to the local shopping centre. Thank you Karen and Steve, we will be sure to book in again if we are staying in Ballarat again.

Great, modern property in good location.

We had to evacuate our house due to bushfires. The booking of the property was done late on the night we needed to stay to accommodate a family of 5. The process of getting entry to the property was flawless which was fantastic considering the stress we were already under. The host was great sending messages and making sure everything was ok. The property was neat and tidy.

Beds were so comfortable. The extras like the dolls house and games made it feel like home. Access to TV extras and free wifi a bonus.

This house was great, the location was brilliant and so close to the lake. Only stayed one night and didnt use the kitchen etc but it met our needs.

Lovely to be provided with fresh bread, fruit, chocolate biscuits, and lots of other breakfast supplies. Lovely quiet but convenient location. Host checked several times whether we needed more supplies. Nice relaxing spa.

Location and ease of access. Carparking is also very easy once you know where to go.

In short I thought the studio was perfect. I literally couldn't fault it. Everything a traveller could want ws there. Lovely and clean. Stepping inside for the first time I thought wow and felt right at home straight away. The owner contacted me on arrival day asking if all was ok which I thought was a wonderful expression of a genuine concern for the well fare of his guest. I rarely do reviews, as I expect a place to be great, as advertised, but this one is above and beyond my expectations and deserves all accolades. The location is wonderful, literally 1-200 metres from the shores of Lake Wendouree. I love walking and had no problems walking into town, it is 2-3 kms from the town centre / train station.
