Self Catering Accommodation in Ascona

The terasse! So lovely to have breakfast outside when it’s sunny. Kitchen was fully equiped with an oven. Beds are a bit hard for my taste but we still slept great. Appartments was sound proof. Interior pool is a game changer.

Rita and Giuseppe are truly exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Their hospitality is second to none, combining professionalism with genuine care. The hotel’s location is superb, just a few meters from the lake and surrounded by shops, cafés, restaurants, a supermarket, and a pharmacy. It’s also within walking distance (about 3.5 km) from Locarno. The village itself offers a wonderfully relaxing ambiance, making it an ideal place to unwind. Breakfast is elegant and delicious, featuring fresh seasonal fruits and a thoughtful selection of options. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality.

We had a studio apartment on the ground floor. It was equipped with everything we needed for self catering. Located on the outskirts of Ascona, it is a pleasant walk from the hotel along the lake front and river into town, or over to Locarno.

The location is fantastic. We loved the balcony with a view of the lake. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Communication with the host is always good. Arrangements for an early checkout were easily made.

Everything! The view, tranquil, comfortable especially very convenient safe parking! The host is so nice!

Great location as base for exploring surrounding area just a short walk to train/bus stations, as well as to grocery store Coop and many restaurants around. quiet with beautiful inner courtyard. There's someone at reception during the day, except weekend. The host was very quick to respond. There's laundry room at the property with a metered washer and dryer which was convenient. Just ask for coins at reception. Note that each coin will operate the washer or dryer for 30 minutes so just use more coins as necessary. Just a note for those coming in summer months, there's no aircon, didn't matter when I was there.

Sensational location with stunning view. A beautiful terrace to enjoy, which was shaded throughout the day in summer.

The property is lovely, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for. I travel to Ascona often for both work and leisure, and this apartment perfectly suits both needs. The apartment was clean, functional, and super nice and cozy as the description says. Knowing Ascona and the region, it makes for a perfect winter and summer stay. It has all the amenities, and suits different type of needs. Also, the parking garage is a plus if travelling by car. I recommend it.

The apartment has a mesmerizing view of Ascona, the lake, mountains, palm trees. It's spectacular and by far the best view we have had from a window. And you can admire it from almost every room, as well as the terrace. The place is clean, spacious, has good heating and air-conditioning, and is comfortable for 5-6 people. Center city is 10-min walking distance (using stairs with a spectacular view), or a 1-min drive.

The appartment is 15 minutes on fooy to the lake and city center. There is an underground garrage where you can park your car. The beds were confortable

The apartment has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard and is extremely comfortable and easy to live in. There are impressive views from the large balcony over the Alps. Lake Maggiore is about ten minutes walk from the property, and there are shops and supermarkets close-by. The bus and boat connections to the many places of interest around the lake are excellent. Alex, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful, and did all he could to make our stay so enjoyable. We will deffinitely be going back.

This was a nice, little apartment with all the amenities to ensure a great stay for a few days. Everything was functional and furnished in a practical way. The kitchen was equiped to cook a simple meal and the room with a round table and a bed didn't feel crowded in the space available. We felt comfortable being there, very close to the lake, many restaurants and close bus connections.

Great location, quiet apartment

The location was excellent for our purposes, with easy access to the lake, siwmming, Ascona town centre and (by bus or on foot) to Locarno for the film festival. The organisation, access and checkout were also very easy and flexible.

I loved staying in this apartment. Fantastic location, excellent host, comfortable bed, super clean. 5 stars!
