Ascona is a magnificent village. The hotel is well located close to the center of Ascona and a beach and well served by bus. Hotel with a very pleasant terrace, very clean, quiet and comfortable. The manager and staff are very welcoming. Good sweet and savory breakfast. Parking and restaurant in the hotel. Lots of interesting cultural events in Ascona and Locarno

We truely loved being in hotel Antica Posta in the center of Ascona, only 1 minute from the lake and 1 minute from the Municipal Museum of Modern Art. Very friendly and helpful team, great beds, super nice breakfast - ask for your favorite omelet - and very light and atmospheric! The rooms were pre-cooled on arrival and we received help with parking our car conveniently. Everything added to a perfect 3-day visit to Ascona, we'll be back!

A beautiful hotel in quiet area in Locarno. Just a few minutes walk to bus station to get into the centre of town. Staff were very helpful and obliging. Will definitely return to this hotel and would highly recommend it to all.

We had a beautifully appointed room with great decorations and in a quiet area.. Good breakfast supplied. Hotel was a 15 minute walk to the Piazza. Parking on site.

Nice room with an aircon in the room which was a big bonus; shared facilities were clean. Only a short walk to Piazza Grande.

The pool area and terrace were spectacular with incredible views. Great value for money.

Perfect position on the lake front with access to ships, buses and plenty of great restaurants. It was quiet and well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant delicious. Cocktails superbly mixed. Pool area great to relax at. Sauna and gym spacious, clean. It all felt rather luxurious.

The staff were particularly kind and helpful...we arrived very late with 3 days and we had got lost and were flustered. The kind woman who received us was extremely patient and understanding! Also the gentlemen who looked after us the day after was fabulous too Food was delicious and the surroundings were outstanding What a magic place

Great breakfast with fantastic view and very nice staff. Rooms situated immediately above restaurant with separat entrance. Rooms not very big but with great view, ac, and CLEAN. Management/reception very nice and accommodating. Happy to recommend to anyone looking for a great value staying here.

Great hotel... beautifully maintained, incredible location with wonderful views overlooking Lake Maggiore. Wonderful staff, great restaurant, beautiful pool and outdoor spaces, including dining terrace. Highly recommend. Easy access to Locarno via 15 minute bus that stops just below the hotel. Peaceful compared to busy Locarno.

Good location, quiet street, but still in the centre of the city. Parking 10 CHF per night, no problem with spaces. Good breakfast, everything we would like to see. Nice and helpful staff. At night the hotel has no receptionist, you have to collect your keys until late. Funny but useful system for the keys - you leave you big key and take small one with you. Same key opens the front door. Rooms are spacious enough, clean and fresh. If you are late there is a fridge with drinks and you just put down what you took. Good system!
