Self-Catering Accommodations in Kleine Scheidegg

We loved the views outside, the quiet little neighborhood, and the house decor. The taxi driver gave us the tip to walk to a nearby farmstead for ice cream one night and that was a cool experience for the kids.

I loved the area of Wengen the chalet was in. We walked through a very peaceful woods with stream that had ferns and moss like Oregon or Washington state. There were adorable sheep and cows with bells right outside the windows. Amazing views from all 3 balconies, we could see waterfalls, snow covered mountains and watch the paragliders! It was clean nicely appointed, very roomy, nice layout with a washer drier with everything you need for indoor cooking. We picked up COOP groceries in town and had plenty of room for dinning for 8 at the table and 4 more at the adorable out door table on the main level balcony off the living room. It could easily sleep 12 with 4 bathrooms. The Wengen village was perfect for us to visit Grindelwald, Murren and the Interlaken lakes. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

The location was away from the hustle and bustle of the train station and city centre with green spaces and spectacular views of the mountains and valley

Everything was amazing, view, clean rooms, this chalet with to bedrooms and 2 bathroom, one for taking shower and other for usual using. Very good kitchen with all staffs.

Fantastic location with the best view in Wengen! This was our 2nd stay and I will definitely stay here again next time we come to Wengen! Love how big the apartment is, the kitchen, best balcony in town, and very comfortable beds and pillows. Very friendly and helpful staff! Had espresso and spices etc for cooking. Very spacious and great to have 2 full bathrooms! Loved the chocolates on the beds! We love Hotel Brunner and can't wait to come back!

Great location, well equipped and clean and comfortable

Beautiful views, good layout, quiet

1. We woke up and with all day amazingly beautiful view. 2. Very beautiful house with 3 bedrooms, very spacious, up-to-date. They just rebuilt or renovated 7 months ago. We got everything that we needed. Very very very clean. 3. Nice 20-30 mins walk with Amazing view to the main Wengen town proper. Very quiet. 4. It was a big plus for free laundry and drier access cause we needed more clean clothes for our next destinations. Also with complimentary taxi for 1 drop off and 1 pick up. 5.Sophie and Thomas were great host and very friendly and accommodating. Very quick to respond and have all the info that we needed.

Old quaint great ambiance to be together with family away from the world. Train was easy to schedule and use. Check in was simple. There was a lot of space and the beds were very comfortable. Loved all the windows.

The property is close to the Wengen train station

This is our third time staying with Alex’s family, and each time has been a wonderful experience. The home is warm, comfortable, and perfectly suits us as a family. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we need, and we truly feel at home every time we stay here.

The chalet was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. The 2-story unit was welcoming, spotless and had all the amenities two couples needed. The views were spectacular from the kitchen window, upper bedroom, balconies and more; the 10-minute walk from downtown Wengen was awe-inspiring day & night. Truly, we couldn’t have had a more ideal experience.

Great apartment, very clean with plenty of space for my family of four. Great views.

Our family of 5 stayed here for 3 weeks in February-March. The rental company was very pleasant, the location was uphill (as everything is in Wengen) but gave easy access to town and local hiking paths. We were able to store our skis at the rental company in town and used either the gondola or the train daily. It was the perfect spot for a family getaway. The flat itself is not fancy, but it's roomy and well supplied. The view and porch cannot be beat.

The view takes your breath away! Amazing! We (2+2 kids) enjoyed hot tub every evening! This is top of the top! I want to come back! The photos do not fully translate the view, it looks more amazing in the reality! The owner Peter is super nice and helping, everything is super organized - the communication, he also left us luggage trolley at the station so it was very easy to bring our luggage from the station. The place is very convenient and has all you need: - Kitchen is well equipped has everything you need. We bought food in Wengen supermarket and prepared by ourself. - The appartment has washing machine and it was really convenient. We stayed 5 nights , hiked everyday in the amazing Jungfrau region. We left the car at the terminal in Lauterbrunner for 5 days for 69 chf.

The communication from the host was excellent. The house was spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed the grill and the deck. The location was a short drive to Grindelwald.

The property was in a great location with all the amenities. We didn’t really use any of the outdoor spaces, but our apartment was great. Our host was fantastic.

Perfect location, place fully equipped with everything you need. Jacuzzi, the balcony were the exceptional part of stay along with such kind and amazing host...

1. The view was awesome and it's a great pleasure to sit on the balcony, enjoying the picturesque scenery. 2. A washing machine is handy, which was very convenient for people hiking around in Grindelwald for several days. 3. A well-equipped kitchen. 4. Close to the bus terminal so we could take the free bus to First, saving parking fee.

Very spacious and good value for the price.

The place is more than wonderful in the middle of a picturesque nature that makes you feel as if you are in a piece of paradise surrounded by mountains, waterfalls and rivers. I really cannot describe the place because of its extreme beauty. Simply put, when you enter this area, you feel calm, reassurance and psychological comfort. I strongly recommend the place and I am sure that I will return to it again.

Location close to market and train. View of the Eiger from the balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good.

I stayed at Eiger Selfness Hotel for 5 nights and I had a wonderful time. The hotel is centrally located in a beautiful spot, with a view of the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they made me feel welcome and comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the daily sauna, which was available for the guests. It was a great way to unwind and rejuvenate after a day of hiking. Another thing I loved was the afternoon tea, which was a delight. There were also many small little things that made my stay wonderful.

Convenient location. Enough apartments to accommodate our large family of 14. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well appointed. Everything we needed for a great vacation!

Very spacious. Very clean and well maintained. Incredible view of the mountains and also in a great location.

The house is really clean and quiet. The view is great.

Hotel Kreuz and Post (the managers of the apartment) were very friendly and attentive. Property was in a FANTASTIC location—you could watch the gondolas and parasailers land and the Hotel Bodmi across the street was a great restaurant if you didn’t want to go all the way into town.

Very cozy place with anything you might need during a few days stay. Amazing mountain view from the terrace.
