Self Catering Accommodation in Minca

The bedroom was spacious and we loved the thoughtful details eg. bedside lights as well as ambient lights around the room. A full length mirror, bedside tables - modest luxuries you often don’t get with hostels. The owners were super sweet and friendly, the shared kitchen and filtered water were useful, cute Ghibli decor around, and loved the back deck and hammock area overlooking the jungle. A/C and a fan in the room kept us comfy in the humidity. Location was great - really quiet area and a short easy walk to the main street of town. One of our favourite hostels in a while!

We had an amazing time at Terramia Estate! Daniel and Hannah were great hosts, the whole team welcomed us with great hospitality and they were super friendly. And also very helpful, anything we needed they were there to assist. At the end of our stay, when we got back to our car, the battery died. Immediately Daniel helped us out and fixed it. And when we asked if we could watch a football game (Holland was playing in the European Championship) they invited us in their home, to watch it together, so kind of them! There is no wifi in the domes, which is great because you are forced to look at the beautiful view all day :) If there is no rain (unfortunately we had a lot of rain), and clear skies, you can see all the way to the ocean: stunning! It is a smallscale place on a coffee plantation, you can also do a coffee tour which is a good way to learn more about Terramia and the coffee process. The waterfall tour was also nice to do, especially because it is private and not a touristic spot. The food is good and healthy, there are a lot of beverages you can take (the wine was a bit pricy) and Daniël makes some tasty cocktails! We would highly recommend this place. If you are looking for a peaceful, remote and unique place, this is where you want to go.

Amazing area to chill and relax if you are looking for it. It's far away from Minca but that's the Magic of this place. The Staff also really nice we forgot one night to buy something to eat and the owner gave us some sadwiches for free. Definetly coming back in the future.

Massive bungalow, (for 2 of us) set up with a Kitchen and all the required equipment to use it properly. The washing machine was a great extra too. The balcony was great with the netted laying area. The site is only 1km from town so a walk down and to surrounding areas was easy. Plenty of moto taxi options to run you back up the hill to the front gate when done. The viewpoint and bar were great! Great staff and great communication from Paula from start to finish! Hard to believe we had better wifi & hot water here than we did in Santa Marta & Burritaca! Highly recommend.

I rented the entire villa for my wife and 3 children to spend New Year's Eve in a place far from the city of concrete, in a quiet location but without sacrificing the comforts we are used to. This place is magical; its views, its facilities, and the experience itself allow you to enjoy nature with all the comforts of the city. Access must be done in a 4x4, which you can arrange to hire in Minca. You can bring everything you need for food and drinks, and that's it. One thing that is essential, considering we're in the jungle, is a good insect repellent and insecticide in case you need it. The bird-watching tour and the excursions to the different waterfalls in the area are a must. I recommend the Hidden Waterfall due to its proximity and solitude.

Todo fue excelente, la atención de Jazmín. Fue muy amable. Nos regaló aguacates. Nos guió para conocer las atracciones del pueblo. Lo malo fue no haber durado mucho más tiempo. El lugar es hermoso y muy tranquilo. Nos presentó su gatito Dominó, que nos hizo una bonita compañía en las zonas comunes.

Booked 3 nights at Casa Maracuya, ended up staying for 6 nights and I never wanted to leave. This hostel is absolutely perfect for so many reasons. It’s a 5 minute walk to town, but at the hostel you feel like you’re really in the middle of nature. It’s so peaceful, quiet and beautiful, with the river and sunset viewpoint being right there too, an added bonus. It’s got a great kitchen, the rooms and common areas are cleaned daily, and there’s a filtered/drinking water tap. I loved staying here, and will definitely be back!

Fernando and Maria are part of the experience - they are so warm and welcoming! Place itself adorable - you have your private terrace with separate entrances to bedroom and bathroom, and also a private well equipped kitchen with entrance around the corner, so even spaces have separate entrances you will be the only one using them. Terrace has a beautiful view and you can spot multiple birds. Location is a 15min walk a lit path to the center, so close enough to walk, but away from all the noise.

Loved our stay here! The casa is in a great location, clean and has all the amenities you need. Morgan was such a lovely host and he was helpful, and also allowed us to store our bags when we arrived. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful setting amongst the trees, lovely clean rooms and very well equipped kitchen. Lovely terrace with hammocks. The location is fantastic, right next to the river and a couple of minutes walk to the town (but just far away enough that you can’t hear the bars).

Beautiful spot in the heights of Minca, with beautiful views of the green forest and brilliant sunsets and sunrises. Super snug and cozy without being too small. Working kitchen with good cooking equipment and kept clean. Nice gas barbecue on the balcony too. Be aware, this lovely cabin is and hour drive from Minca, way up high and very secluded. So make sure to bring enough food, water and drinks to last you, as each trip into town and back can add up costs. Approx 150000cop per journey in a 4x4
