Self Catering Accommodation in Minca

Lovely spacious private room. The property is nestled in the jungle and only a short walk to the main area of Minca. Very good price also.

I stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful stay. The bed is super comfy, the bathroom is huge with great water pressure, and the private balcony is so peaceful and lets fresh air into the room with mosquito net or can be completely closed. There are also fans that work great. Regarding the owner, Romaric, he obviously works hard on this property, and I found him to be super helpful, and one of his knowledgeable friends (the Irish man) helped me plan a hike because I was looking for something a bit longer and challenging. This place is literally ON a mountain side, IN lush greenery, everything is natural/made with wood or fibre, and the price is so reasonable... what more can people ask for?

Amazing area to chill and relax if you are looking for it. It's far away from Minca but that's the Magic of this place. The Staff also really nice we forgot one night to buy something to eat and the owner gave us some sadwiches for free. Definetly coming back in the future.

Todo fue excelente, la atención de Jazmín. Fue muy amable. Nos regaló aguacates. Nos guió para conocer las atracciones del pueblo. Lo malo fue no haber durado mucho más tiempo. El lugar es hermoso y muy tranquilo. Nos presentó su gatito Dominó, que nos hizo una bonita compañía en las zonas comunes.

Incredible location, very good facilities, Theo and everyone else working at the property were amazingly helpful ans kind, everything else really.

Absolutely stunning location. Really comfy. Perfect spot to sit and relax and watch the beautiful scenery and stars. The bbq and hot tub were amazing!

The location is stunning, the common area is really beautiful and overlooks the jungle and down to the ocean. The sunsets were exceptional and we could watch birds flying about in the morning from our bed!

Fernando and Maria are part of the experience - they are so warm and welcoming! Place itself adorable - you have your private terrace with separate entrances to bedroom and bathroom, and also a private well equipped kitchen with entrance around the corner, so even spaces have separate entrances you will be the only one using them. Terrace has a beautiful view and you can spot multiple birds. Location is a 15min walk a lit path to the center, so close enough to walk, but away from all the noise.

Beautiful spot in the heights of Minca, with beautiful views of the green forest and brilliant sunsets and sunrises. Super snug and cozy without being too small. Working kitchen with good cooking equipment and kept clean. Nice gas barbecue on the balcony too. Be aware, this lovely cabin is and hour drive from Minca, way up high and very secluded. So make sure to bring enough food, water and drinks to last you, as each trip into town and back can add up costs. Approx 150000cop per journey in a 4x4

The Cabin was fabulous we really enjoyed the lovely wide deck with hammocks and the fact we had a kitchen to prepare our own meals. Fer and Marie even provided condiments in the kitchen which was greatly appreciated and some delicious avocados from their garden. The cabin was spacious and had all the amenities to make you feel at home even two bathrooms. There was ample space to spread out and enjoy the great view into the lovely garden. We even viewed toucans from the balcony and lots of other species of birds. Fer and Marie were very good at giving us information about the area and transportation options too. We would highly recommend this accommodation. The location is only a short walk to the village centre but far enough away to make it a peaceful stay. There are great walks to the swimming holes in MInca too which I greatly enjoyed too.

Booked 3 nights at Casa Maracuya, ended up staying for 6 nights and I never wanted to leave. This hostel is absolutely perfect for so many reasons. It’s a 5 minute walk to town, but at the hostel you feel like you’re really in the middle of nature. It’s so peaceful, quiet and beautiful, with the river and sunset viewpoint being right there too, an added bonus. It’s got a great kitchen, the rooms and common areas are cleaned daily, and there’s a filtered/drinking water tap. I loved staying here, and will definitely be back!
