Exceptional location. Stunning views. Luxurious glamping pods. Excellent, attentive staff. Nice food. Exceptionally good early morning "Bird Tour" with personable and very well informed, English-speaking guide. Binoculars supplied. Saw 29 species within the site itself and along a short section of the track outside. We stayed for two nights. One night would not have been enough.

Incredible Location and Views! We had Tucans and a whole lot of other beautiful birds right in front of our beautiful 2 story cabana. The breakfast was really good. The hotels restaurant is run by a spanish-columbian couple, who offer just a perfect melange of spanish-columbian breakfast (fresh fruits, awesome, tasty coffee, arepas and the good old Valencian pan con tomate ❤️.

This place is like visiting a fairytaleland... It is the perfect place to relax and detach, slow down and enjoy every second. I absolutely fell in love with this place in seconds. The rooms are spacious and very beautiful, it was my little princess palace for 3 nights and if my shedule would have allowed it I would have stayed way longer. The staff is so sweet and the dogs are the best to have fun with and go on a little hike to the closeby little waterfalls. The river is magical and you sleep so well with the soothing sound of it. By day you can cool of in the fresh water and play and float with the current. I also visited the neighbours that are from indiginous Wiwa tribe. Spent a beautiful afternoon with them and got some very wise advice for life. Jorge, the owner, is really nice and makes sure you have the best time there. The food is sooooooooo amazing, I don't know how to go back to like normal food after this experience. Connected deeply with this place and can't wait to go back.

Beautiful location- absolutely fantastic views of the Sierra Nevada ( from the room, balcony and the restaurant area too). It was so cool to see all the birdlife while enjoying a delicious breakfast. Run by a lovely local family. We will definitely come back! P.S. Minca tips- the town centre has lots of great restaurants and bars- I recommend Bururake for delicious food and juices! Also enjoyed the tour of Finca Arhuaca coffee, cocoa and indigenous culture (have to pay 10k COP for/pass through Cascada Oido del Mundo to reach the finca and 70k COP for the tour but I think it was worth it and good to support local community). I wouldn't bother with Pozo Azul, there are better, less crowded waterfalls in the region. Minca has lots of bugs but the OFF bug spray with the orange lid is effective!)

It’s a nice little town with a bunch of activities and places to go and explore, you will also find a lot of interesting characters between the locals and other foreigners that live there, it’s worth of it if you wanna discover more of the northern culture of Colombia and the beautiful spots this area offer.

Not really what I have been told.

Not really what I have been told. I was expecting an “hippie vibe place” but more than hippie it is a bit unkept. Try to spend time in nature but avoid the waterfall everyone one goes to. It loses all the magic and silence of the place.

BEWARE UPPER ACCESS ROAD as shown as only one by GPS Google Maps!!! Scary and if you have any incident you are 2 hours walk away from hotel... who will tell you as they did to us: you should not come here by car, and NOT via Upper Track. Use lower one at La Vittoria.... Food on site is average. Staff correct with no excess of smiles. Room fine - no hot water so better a swim in pool than cold shower 😳 No hiking trails only the access roads Clientele around 30´s with a noisy group on 1st evening

Lazy Cat Restaurant is a surprising and excellent find. Minca is backpacker 20 something heaven. Lots of green. I suppose there are some great hikes. Once you have seen a bit of the world it can get repetitive. I probably would not go back. 2 days is more than enough (of course depending on your situation and expectations). Yet another good place to meditate and be with nature.

It was an unforgettable experience walking through nature, seeing the rivers and waterfalls. The variety of birds, the tranquility of being surrounded by so many sounds, breathtaking sunsets. I truly enjoyed the whole experience and place. Will do it again, highly recommended.

Lovely place to see birds, swim in some waterfalls, have some good coffee and chocolate on farms, get some craft beer. Very hot though— stay hydrated and pack sunscreen. I would recommend this place and advise hiking around to enjoy the nature.

The staff here were absolutely amazing and friendly. Dorms suprisingly comfortable (though curtains for the beds could be nice) with solid shower and bathroom facilities. Location along the river was great, though a walk out of town. Pool and hang out facilities were also solid - though mostly used by Colombian families visiting on holiday on the weekends. Food was good if on the pricier end for Colombia. Overall a nice stay.

Pilar and her staff are amazing hosts who make you feel very welcome. The property is absolutely beautiful with amazing views of the surroundings. A feeling of luxury and seclusion. The food is the best we have had in Colombia, home cooked with a new dish every day. We also really enjoyed the waterfall tour with Richard. If you are considering staying here, just do it!!!

A really perfect located hotel in the middle of nature. A short walk from the (small) village. Very pleasant and nice staff to help you with everything you need. A place were you can relax from the more crowded other Colombian places.

Amazing place! Great pool, great facility, the location is also perfect - you can just walk 1 min to swim in the river, the town is also very near. There is also a bar there. Very very nice experience, one of my best in Colombia.
