If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing nature escape, this is the perfect place. The setting is peaceful, surrounded by lush gardens full of fruit trees, plants, and flowers — absolutely beautiful. The apartment was large, very clean, and smelled fresh. The beds were soft, and having a full kitchen was a big plus since there aren’t many restaurants nearby. Karol, the owner, greeted us warmly upon arrival and gave us a quick tour of the apartment. She even shared a cacao fruit with us to try, a thoughtful personal touch. This property is ideal for travelers looking for a tranquil getaway away from the busy tourist spots in Costa Rica. It’s close to Tenorio Volcano National Park and the Rio Celeste River, making it perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who want to explore nature and unwind in a peaceful setting.

We absolutely loved staying here! The family is wonderful. They were always ready to help and answer any questions. The night tour on the property was fun, the breakfast was delicious and it was overall very relaxing. This was the first property we stayed at on our Costa Rica trip, and we were so grateful that it was. Casa morfo is a charming little home away from home with a very warm and welcoming host. We were very comfortable during our three night stay. Being able to do laundry was great since I’d been traveling for almost two weeks. We had a rental car and easily drove to all the activities in the area we were interested in. The house is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the main street of Bijagua (easily walkable).

It is an entire house! Plenty of space! The yard is lovely too and we enjoyed our coffee on the porch each morning

The Bitzu dome is one of the most unique places I’ve ever stayed. The dome itself is spacious and comfortable with all of the necessities right there. The host Alex is a very nice guy and very responsive and helpful. He worked with me through some traveling troubles due to a tropical storm and helped me out a lot. I can’t thank him enough for his hospitality. I highly recommend the Bitzu dome and Bijagua in general if you want to be somewhere a little less touristy and truly get to appreciate the Costa Rican Culture.
