Lots of very good things: the location (a quiet area 15 mins walk from the centre of Weimar), excellent off-street parking, comfortable bed and a clean and well-equipped first floor flat. Also the host was very pleasant and helpful. The shared kitchen may not suit everyone (but fortunately there was no one in the other flat so we didn't have to share it), but it was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The only other problem was that the small shower head needs to be replaced. But overall we had a great stay and highly recommend it.

Atmosphere is excellent. Location is very central. We met with the very friendly host who showed the way to the rooms and gave us the key. Our stay did not include breakfast at the hotel, but the well-equipped kitchen in our apartment made it easy for us to make meals.

We liked everything about this hotel. The location is unbeatable: right in the old part of town, by the market square in a traffic free little alleyway. The apartment was very nicely furnished - simple, functional and comfortable with everything you needed in the kitchen. It had a balcony overlooking a garden where we enjoyed breakfast each day. The restaurant was outstanding. One of our group had locally sourced venison which was delicious. I had a vegetarian dish that was exceptional. I have rarely eaten such a good vegetarian meal in a restaurant. Imaginative yet not ridiculously fancy. But the best thing about the hotel was the staff - super friendly and helpful. Our server in the restaurant Klara deserves special mention. She did a great job but, above and beyond that, she helped us with a minor medical incident and offered to drive us to a hospital at 11.00 pm! We didn't need that in the end but just knowing someone was willing to help was fantastic.

We really did feel like in a home away from home. Very well located in walking distance to the town centre, bakery and shops. Great to have a dedicated parking spot too. The flat was sparkling clean and had all we needed and more. Just perfect
