This place is amazing! It’s located in a quiet area, but very easy to reach, just few minutes to the public boat station and you are in the city center. The room is very clean and nicely decorated in an east style. Hot water, super good WiFi which is rare in Egypt, green area around. I had a very good sleep there after noisy Giza and Cairo. I liked it all, but the best is the owner, he is extremely nice, helpful and takes care of guests, I felt like home there, he was always there for me, though I needed a boat at 3 am, he organized it for me and want with me. I’m very grateful for that. Also I had a birthday and I was given a big beautiful cake from the hotel, such a warm atmosphere I’ve never met before. To tears. Thanks a lot and I highly recommend this hotel, the best!

Absolute no brainer to book here. Staff are so helpful and welcoming. Great deal, some fun suprises, some of our best meals in Egypt. Got us great deal on some local outings like our cruise to Luxor. Guest house itself very relaxed and in a cool area that is fun to explore.

This was the best hotel I stayed out of 4 (up to 4 stars) during my trip in Egypt. The owner, Fatima, and the manager welcomed me with smile and tea and made sure that I feel comfortable. Once I learned that I’ll be the only guest for the first night, I was a little worried but Fatima and her lovely daughter, Rana who is a little shy and well behaved, kindly stayed over at the property. They offer you couple tour options but once you clarify your preference, they are not pushy at all. The view from the room and the balcony is stunning and I had nice chilling evenings. You can reach to several restaurant and a shop by walk as well as to the main island by boat 24/7 with just 10EGP during the day or 50EGP at night. The property is basic but has good wifi and a warm shower. If I have a chance to visit again, I would like to stay for a week to do nothing but to relax.

This was my favourite place in my trip to Egypt. I love Aswan, and staying at Nubian Paradise on Elephantine Island was the quiet I needed from the chaos and hassle of Egypt. The view from the roof is amazing - great for watching the sunrise and the sunset. Zolly is an amazing man, one of the most interesting hosts I've ever encountered in my travels to 100 countries. We had many long interesting conversations and I learnt a lot about Nubain culture and Egypt from him. I want to keep in contact him, and hope to catch up with him again in any future visits to Aswan inshallah. He was able to organise my trips to Abu Simbel, Philae Temple and Aswan Dam, and also a private driver to visit 3 temples and drop off at Luxor. I believe Nubian Paradise will be hard to book in future as his accommodation and service is top notch. While you stay on Elephantine Island please make sure you explore the island, go to the Aswan Museum (it's not touristy), eat at the restaurants on the island and walk around and interact with the locals.

Great room with balcony, views of the Nile. Bathroom outside of the room but still private. Nice salon shared with 2 other rooms, large sofa and fridge/freezer. Amazing terrace on 3rd floor to hangout. Cleaned common spaces everyday. 2min walk from the public ferry, easy to find. The locals on the island are incredibly friendly and ready to help without asking for tips like other places in Egypt. Great Nubian hospitality, hosts answer any questions/doubts you have about visiting locations in the area.
