The location is as good as it gets, quiet, beautiful views, beautiful garden and just 5 m walk from an excellent taverna ! Truly exceptional location. The house itself is as charming as they come, like a little house out of old fairy tales, lots of character, not like a generic Ikea furnished room :-) And I have to mention the host, Agatha and her husband, as sweet and helpful as I have met. Agatha, thank you for a lovely stay.

The location is very convenient and within the town center so good food and quaint shops and cafes are just nearby. Its balcony has an amazing view of Meteora rocks and it’s a good hike distance to one of its nearest monastery. It’s also just a couple of minutes walk to Meteora eBike Tours which provides a really wonderful biking tour to the bigger and popular monasteries. I like that all the essentials were provided in the room including good coffee.

Excellent location - very clean, comfortable and attractive accommodations. The property right in the center of Kastraki, near very good restaurants and a small, well-stocked grocery. We were happy we chose to stay in smaller Kastraki rather than larger Kalabaka. It's a quiet and charming small town, and Kalabaka is only a few minutes away by car if you need it. It's very well situated to tour all the monasteries and the surrounding area. We were able see some monasteries in the morning and come back to the apartment for lunch or a rest, and head out on the loop again for sunset. Nice walks are available nearby, and great views are right out your front door. Parking was convenient - right out front. Having a washing machine is great, we were happy to get to use our travel clothesline. Our host Katerina was especially kind and helpful, including when we unexpectedly needed an extra night due to illness. She brought our daughter fresh and eggs and juice and was truly kind, we'll never forget it.

We had a wonderful stay, very clean and all the confort we could ever wish for (heat / air conditioning, hot water almost instantly, Internet, etc). The location is very good, 1 minute walking distance from all the tavernas/restaurants (we recommend the Gardenia especially for food). Since we arrived by car there was a dedicated (private) parking space too. The host greeted us with a complimentary basked of fruits, wine, soda drinks. We highly recommend it if you can find it free, we had a lovely stay! P.S. the location is also very close to the big rocks, an awesome view
