Great location, very clean - and very kind and helpful owner :)

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment in a charming, small town. We loved that the area wasn’t overly touristy, offering an authentic Italian experience. The two restaurants right next to the apartment were fantastic—we enjoyed delicious food and great coffee there every day. The beach was just a short walk down the street, making it easy to pop back to the apartment if we needed anything. The apartment itself was stunning and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning was a lifesaver in the 35°C heat, ensuring we slept well every night. We would definitely return. Thank you for a lovely time!

Great view, good size very comfortable

This place was amazing, such lovely staff, so clean and well-kept, perfect location next to the beach with lots of wildlife including swans, ducks, geese, moorhens, a heron and lots of cormorants. The facilities were excellent, nice toilets and showers, a good cafe with a great selection of food overlooking the beach, a kids club with lots of activities for children, a nice pool and everyone so friendly. Thank you so much, we had a lovely time!

Had a excellent few days here and it was perfect for what we wanted. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and really set a positive tone to start your stay. We stayed in a mobile home which perfect for what we needed and the porch area outside was great for sitting out in the evening. The on-site restaurant served great food at reasonable prices, we used it for two events and weren’t disappointed. The two beaches that are available for use by the lake were really nice. Offered easy access to the water for a swim and was a nice area to relax. The views from the beaches were beautiful and the water really clean. 20/25 minute walk from the main train station in Dormelletto and a bus stop right outside the camp. Trains go further north up to Stresa, bus goes to Arona but can get connections from there. Supermarket next to the camp as well. Are car could be useful but we didn’t need one

Ameno is a lovely authentic village in the hills above Lake Orta. The hostel is a great economical place to stay while exploring the area - a car is very useful. I loved having a working kitchen to use & the location is nice with a wee park just outside with shade & seats. The bar across the courtyard is friendly & not too noisy usually. It shuts early anyway. The bathroom was good, although only one toilet & shower per gender, so if a lot of guests it could be difficult. Giuditta was so helpful & accomodating with all of my questions & requests: a very kind but busy lady.

Excellent place, comfortable and newly renovated room, perfectly clean. Breakfast was delicious. Very quiet place, just a 10 minutes walk to the city center and the train station. Recommended!!!

It's very affordable for the Italian lakes and the location is great. A couple of mins walk from the main street in the neighborhood with bars and restaurants. The nearest bus stop is 5 mins away with buses every hour to Stresa and Intra. The train station is also 10 mins away so it's easy to reach from Milan. The host provided clear instructions to pick up the keys. It's very quiet so we could sleep very well.

Elisa is wonderful, never experienced better service. She was always available and helped us when we needed it.

With a kind of a private beach I finally managed to “teach” or convince my dog to swim. Nice garden.

Location, cleanliness, amenities, communication

It was well equipped with a nice,quiet balcony. The park belonging to the apartments was beautiful and it was great to cross it to go to the village.

La tranquilité, la.piscine, la situation

We had a very lovely stay at Casa Carlotta. The apartment is very modern, perfect for a couple, and has been furnished to a high standard. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We could see the lake, which is a 15 minute walk away. The parking is nearby and free. Lesa is a very pretty town within striking distance of many other beautiful towns and cities.

The apartment was luxurious and very welcoming. We enjoyed every aspect and would love to return. It was well equipped and located in an ideal situation for exploring Lake Maggiore by car. The train station was within a few minutes of walking and convenient for a visit to Stresa. The hosts were both very accommodating and helpful. We thoroughly recommend every aspect of this apartment.
