The opportunity to stay in a Japanese villa, in a great location by Lake Ashi, with a kitchen and plenty of space was amazing. Then, the hot springs shower and tub was super special. It truly was healing to our bodies that were a bit worn out from travel. Yes, stay here! We hope to stay longer next time. It was a little hard to find. Yet, a kind gentleman was watching out for us and directed us.

The facilities and rooms are very new. Extremely spacious and immaculately clean. It was so clean that I didn't even see a a single speck of dust. The location is excellent, it's right next to a bus stop so travelling to other areas in Hakone is very easy. The bus also goes all the way to Odawara. Across the street is a 7/11 that is open 24 hours. There are also some nice local restaurants in the area. The wifi was stable with very high data bandwidth speeds over 200mb. The TV was newer model and it has apps like YouTube and Netflix. The room had a washer/dryer for laundry, which I didn't know how to use as the buttons were in Japanese, but the front desk staff helped me with it. If you need laundry detergent, it only costs 100 yen from the front desk. The breakfast was a nice buffet of food. The entire staff at the hotel were very respectful and professional and really do their best to help. My stay here was well beyond expectations.

The location, room, balcony and private onsen bath were all amazing. The accommodation was very high quality in terms of facilities and what was provided. Would highly recommend to others. It was the very start of our stay in Japan and we couldn't have kicked the trip off better (once we got there from the airport!)

A perfect place to stay! Easy remote check-in. Very spacious, with two large and comfortable bedrooms upstairs and a cozy living room downstairs—offering both privacy and space for everyone. Located in a quiet area. The fridge is stocked with complimentary welcome drinks. The living room is clean, well-organized, and very comfortable. Everything is stylish and modern. There’s a parking lot right next to the entrance. It’s best to arrive by car. Plenty of restaurants just a few minutes’ drive away.

I hit the jackpot with this booking! I honestly couldn’t have picked a better place to stay during my three days in Hakone. Perched on a hillside in the Motohakone area, you’re greeted with beautiful views of Lake Ashi as you make your way to the property. I didn’t realize how big the place was until I got there — it’s so huge that it took me six minutes to do a full house tour for my friends back home! The villa is clean, modern, and super cozy. The views from the balcony are absolutely amazing too. The owner is really friendly and kind, and his two little doggies are just the cutest! They were actually one of the reasons I chose this villa, haha. Honestly, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. I had the most relaxing and peaceful stay I’ve ever had in all my years of traveling. Waking up to the sounds and views of the forest and lake felt like such a luxury — one I never knew I could afford. Taking a morning stroll down to the lake was pure joy. I felt so blessed to spend my time surrounded by such beautiful nature. And on top of all that, I’m happy to say I’ve made a new friend in Hakone! I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’m already telling all my friends in Singapore to book this place if they ever visit Hakone.

The house was beautifully decorated, and had all the appliances needed for cooking and cleaning dinner for ourselves. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond. Having the option for a more traditional bedroom as well as a western sleeping arrangement was also nice. The location was also great and fairly easy to get to between the bus and train system, and having a 7-11 nearby was extremely convenient. The rock bath was an extremely relaxing experience and easy to set up.
