We had an amazing stay! Due to availability we had to switch rooms during our stay and both were very comfortable and clean. The beach is in walking distance and during our three day stay we had consistently good waves. We could borrow the surf equipment right at the hostel and even got the chance to take a lesson from the hostel owner for a very reasonable price. The next supermarket is a bit too far for walking but you can lend bikes to go shopping.

The house is super cozy and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect base to explore the beaches and nature around Hyuga. It's located in a charming historical district with a lovely café and a tiny shop nearby. The place looks freshly renovated, and we had all the utensils we needed to cook and enjoy a relaxing evening. The outdoor area feels like a little slice of paradise. We'll always remember the jacuzzi under the stars and at sunrise! Communication was smooth, and the parking space is spacious and conveniently located right in front of the house.

Hyuga Surf Camp is a group of small individual houses. They are tastefully decorated and very comfortable and clean. I liked the house very much. It's a nice place and looks just like the photos or possibly better. They provided a lot of written information. Some was helpful - like places of interest nearby. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was nice, and the outdoor covered area was lovely. It was raining when I was there so I enjoyed using the large projector screen.
