This newly built waterfront villa offers stunning views and a serene, private retreat. The portable gas powered BBQ was a fantastic touch, perfect for enjoying a Japanese-style barbecue at home while soaking in the scenery. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the host thoughtfully provided fishing gear if you're in to that and canned cold coffee for 200 yen! Conveniently located near shops and attractions that you can easily reach by rental car, this gem is a must-stay. I’d book again in a heartbeat!:)

The check in was not smooth. You need to go to another location to collect the key. I believe it’s called Nagato central hotel. Another than that, we were satisfied. The property is clean and tidy. We love the balcony, has a nice view of the neighborhood.

The entrance hall was big and perfect for storing my bicycle. The downstairs living dining area is large with separate Japanese tatami and carpeted area. Quiet neighbourhood Cafe Struggle (1 minute walk away) is one of the best cafes I’ve ever been to

Great value for two couples. A few blocks across the water and downriver from bus stop W15, with comfortable bedding and pillows, very quiet neighborhood at night. Everything you need at a great price. We were very satisfied with our three night stay here!

This is a lovely "beach house" in a rather "off-the-beaten-track" part of Japan, at least outside of high summer season. It's actually not on the beach but exudes that vibe and is only a ten minute walk from the proper seaside. Great sauna, beautifully clean, and easy access. The neighborhood is more traditional and lovely, but dining options are limited for those without transport.

Super friendly hosts, understandable and very hospitable. The guesthouse itself is on the second floor of a motorcycle shop/workshop. Very clean, modern and quiet, not to mention comfortable. Location is also quite good, close enough walking distance to the center of Hagi, all of the facilities you'd ever need! Lovely.
