Loved the location, the nearby restaurants and walkable to Mdina. Terrace are large and each bedroom had its own bath.

An exceptionally well renovated historic building with architect designed interiors in the old city of Rabat. Close to the all the areas main attractions by foot. Owner operated. Staff friendly and helpful. Daily supply of fresh filtered water in reusable glass bottles, fruit and cookies on arrival.

Every year for the past 15 years, we've travelled to many countries and stayed in dozens of hotels, inns, etc. This is the first and only time we have ever rated any place a 10/10. We've never experienced a host that was so concerned and took such care that everything was just right. The location can't be any better -- less than a two-minute walk from the bus stop and right across the park by Mdina Gate. The room was spotless, clean and comfortable. It looked like someone had gotten down and polished the stairway and floor. Everything worked well (in particular, the A/C during a 42+ degree Malta heat wave). The information the host sent us by WhatsApp was accurate and helpful, not only before we arrived but during our stay when we had questions. She even kept in touch with us as we were on the bus from Valletta to make sure we were OK and to make sure the room would be ready when we arrived. Most hotels/inns let you leave bags in some storage area if the room isn't yet ready because you've arrived early, or want to walk around town before heading off to the next destination, but Maleth Inn has several large lockers down in the entrance area where you can do this, with locks provided, without having to rely on staff. A bit of advice: If you are going by bus from Valletta, don't worry if it seems like the bus is going to drive straight through the town. Just stay onboard. The bus will curve around Rabat and will eventually stop right in the middle of town at the main bus area where you get off and walk quickly to the Inn.

The location is great - you have 10 min walk to Mdina, the Silent city, and the bus stop direct to Valletta is right in front of the Townhouse. We got all information we needed for self check-in just in time. The stuff was very kind and friendly. Breakfast was very delicious and served by the time you pick (from 7.30 to 9.00am). Every day was something else on the menu for breakfast. The room was very clean, we had everything we needed. The bed was big and very comfortable, ac worked very well, toalet was clean. The stuff cleaned room every day and changed the towels.

This was my second stay here and I was very happy. The place is clean, the location is unbeatable, and it offered exactly what I needed for a week-long stay. ​I stayed in Studio 1. Just a heads-up for future guests: this specific unit is on the ground floor. It is quite compact and doesn't get much sunlight/view, so it is best suited for a solo traveler or someone using it just to sleep. You might hear faint noise from the main door/hallway, but I found it very minor. ​Overall, a great value and a perfect base for exploring.

Very responsive, flexible host. Iven really helped us with accommodating our 2 year-old daughter. And she absolutely loved the spacious apartment. There was lots of space for her to run in the apartment and to watch the turtles in the garden from the balcony.

Good location :the centre of tourist section of Rabat and close to the gates at M’dina close to buses, cafés, restaurants and small convenience stores. A nicely renovated historical building, spacious and clean.

What a gem of a place. It's central and the most beautiful accommodation you can find. There is so much attention to detail in the construction and refinement of this building. It's full of light and charm. It feels large and spacious.

So happy to choose this place for our visit to Malta! Very cute house in the heart of Rabat, a few minutes away from walled Mdina.

The property is well-located, you can get to - serveral supermarkets in 3 mins by walking - to the city center within a 5-6 mins by walking - main bus station in 8-10 mins. There are several restaurants in the city center. The apartment has great washing - and drying machine, so perfect for longer stays, or mid-vacation refresh! The apartment has everything you would need for your stay : well-equipped kitchen, AC, good internet, big wardrobe, washing and drying machine.
