Very quaint, little cottage with plenty of outdoor space. Charming and right on the fisherman’s trail. This was the communal bread baking hearth that went to private property and was converted into this rustic cottage. It has a lovely, spiritual feel and is very artistic. The radiator is sufficient to heat the room and there is a smart TV and basic kitchen appliances. The host was excellent and sweet.

I was a bit concerned about my stay at first because of the other reviews. However, I needed a place in Salema for one night while hiking the Fishermen’s Trail, so I booked it anyway. It was a bit pricey for just me, but since there aren't many options in Salema, it was the BEST choice. It has the BEST location—practically right on the trail and next to the beach! The self-check-in process was very easy (with a code and a key box by the door), and the place was very clean. It was obviously very big for just me. I only used the bathroom in the master bedroom, and everything worked very well, including the toilet, which people had complained about before. It's basic and not fancy, but it was perfect for my needs. I also loved the old tiled floors, which are chipped in places. People might mistake the chips for dirt, but they're just signs of use and life ;) The bed was very comfy and there was coffee. So, my needs were met 100%!

Reception was very helpful and friendly, pool was great. Wifi didnt work well in my room so I was given a small wifi extender that worked well. Kitchen well stocked, rooms were spacious and it was very convenient to have a supermarket right there.

Friendly staff, the townhouse is spacious, clean and kitchen fully equipped if you wanted to cook. Shuttle service to take you down to beach and back.(lovely restaurants by the beach, lots of options)

Spacious, bright good seating areas. We liked the pool, sun chairs and rooms facing the pool/Salema town. Well kitted our kitchen and washing facilities. Sliding door to outside opening up living area to the veranda and pool area. A very nice and well equipped place overall.

Large clean swimming pool virtually empty for the 3 days in June that we stayed. A short walk downhill to the village centre and beach. Just a small number of restaurants, but great food served and all reasonably priced. Easy parking and a very handy on site supermarket. The village area is quiet and low key. Our balcony (top floor) had a great view of the sea, village and pool. Apartment was clean with a great shower. Kitchen small but well equipped.
