Clean modern apartment satisfied our needs for the stay. Very comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen. Keys were in the safe with a code sent to us beforehand. It was very convenient as we arrived later in the night and did not know the exact time upfront anyway. Everything was arranged without any need of interaction with the owners from my side which I appreciate a lot because I usually hate to deal with the organization before the trip. And we even got a wine as a gift. Thank you!

Located just 45 km from Eisriesenwelt Werfen, BASECAMP Reiteralm provides accommodation in Schladming with access to a fitness centre, free bikes, as well as a lift. A sauna is available for guests. It was very close to the skiing area which we really liked. We also enjoyed the possibility to store or skis, snowboards and boots.

Set in Wagrain in the Salzburg region and Eisriesenwelt Werfen reachable within 32 km, Lehenriedl Appartements offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, water sports facilities and... The apartment is big enough for a couple. It was very clen. The beds are comfortable (mattress, blankets and pillows). Plenty of hot water for a shower, good towels. The view from the balcony is stunning. You can swin in the pool. There are two nearby supermarkets (BILA, SPAR). Plenty of parking place. The owners are very nice and helpful. The location is good for visiting the area.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Kohlegghof is located in Schwemmberg, 38 km from Eisriesenwelt Werfen and 31 km from Dachstein Skywalk. This is such a lovely family living almost on top of a mountain. They have a little farm with cows, horses, ducks, chicken, cats, etc. and produce almost everything they offer for breakfast themselves (milk, yoghurt, cream cheese, bread, eggs, meat spread, jam, honey,...). The view in the morning when the sun comes up behind the mountains is amazing! Our family stayed there in winter and we went skiing during the day (Radstadt and Reiteralm are close), but it may be also worth a visit during summer. I would definitely go there again!

Offering a garden and garden view, Hallmoosgut is located in Sankt Johann im Pongau, 32 km from Eisriesenwelt Werfen and 47 km from Bad Gastein Railway Station. Hallmoosgut is a beautiful house in the mountains with amazing views. You can literally see the slopes and gondola from your balcony (but there is no road to them so you have to drive for 10 minutes to wagrain). As a bonus it is a true working farm with various animals. Tommy the dog is a very cuddly and fluffy gentleman (Bernese mountain dog). The last few kilometers from the main road are on rather steep and narrow roads, I highly recommend having snow chains if you don't have 4X4, but we didn't have to use them since the snow fall was low. Overall, I would definitely recommend it if you prefer authentic Austrian countryside with lots of animals. As the most famous Austrian once said... I'll be back!
