We enjoyed our stay at this new house located on the edge of a quite holiday park. It has been thoughtfully designed and decorated. It has a large garden around it with outdoor table and BBQ. The sauna was also a nice bonus. The hosts were friendly and contactable too. Highly recommend.

The apartment is decorated with great taste, is a pleasure to stay. Very modern refurbishment. Beds are comfy. High-tech kitchen. Spacious shower with window above, really cool. A supermarket and a restaurant is just around the corner, great location.

So many good things. 1) The place is sweet, homey, clean, cozy (burning woodfire when we arrived in the cold afternoon)--a historic old building with modern updates/renovation. Lots of room. Two floors. 2) All the best values of this unique place, Geel, are embodied in the beautiful host Sophie. Our meeting conversation with her was one of the highlights of a month of travels for me, maybe the best moment of the trip. Very kind hosting--hospitality in the most real and deep sense. Plus: Sophie's husband Paul is a legendary cyclist (hence the name, Velo --94 is the year he won the Cyclo-Cross World Championship)--so cyclists, check it out!

We loved the setting that is outside of the hustle of the city. It's very peaceful and a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing and exploring the neighborhood. The unit is spacious, well appointed and everything one can ask for when staying for a longer period of time. The host is very responsive and immediately answered any questions we had. This place is a true gem if you want to experience the lovely country side. It is outside of the nearest town, Hapert, but we were able to walk to the stores in good weather, or it's a 5 minute drive to the nearest supermarket. Each room has its own shower and basin and on each of the two floors is a shared toilet. It was very good to have one bedroom on the ground floor, and we were able to navigate my daughter's wheelchair easily in the space. We will definitely book this property again in the future!
