What a wonderful surprise to have discovered B&B Stirnimann for our two night stay while touring Switzerland. The area is peaceful and lovely and the stay was everything we could ever want and more. Our hosts offered us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The accommodations were not just clean but absolutely spotless and our room was cozy, spacious and very comfortable. We were allowed to use the full kitchen and living room and porch in addition to our room and that was such a treat for us on our long trip. The best part you ask? The best part was Hedi our host who we instantly adored. She is a gracious, funny, kind and friendly force of nature who made sure we were comfortable, offered touring and local information and provided us with a full delicious breakfast. There are some people and places that enhance a trip in special ways that you know you will never forget. Staying at B&B Stirnimann and meeting Hedi will hold a special place in our memory and we hope to return someday.

Check in was easy. There was a parking spot for our car. The apartment size was adequate and had all the amenities needed. There was a cooler in the apartment which was convenient in the summer heat.

The apartment is impeccably clean. There is an info display inside for all the information that would make your stay in the apartment and its surroundings easier. Communication with the hosts was simple and productive. Lucerne is about a 50-minute drive, and Zurich half an hour, the location is excellent for discovering the surroundings. I strongly recommend this place for your next stay in Switzerland.
