Offering a garden and mountain view, Cabañas Kitai is situated in Hanga Roa, 600 metres from Pea and 19 km from Ahu Tongariki. We have been traveling around the South Pacific for two months and this is absolutely one of our top experiences. The bungalow was great: spacious, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Bed was comfy, shower large and warm (and even provided with conditioner!) We were also very happy with the location in the middle of Hanga Roa, at close walking distance to all kinds of restaurants. Maybe a 15 minute walk from the ‘sunset moai’. The best of all though, were Kevin and Lynn. Exceptionally friendly hosts, with 12 awesome cats to top it off. We went around the island with Kevin for two days and we learned so much from him about its history and tradition. His stories added a ton of value. He speaks excellent English and is so passionate about Rapa Nui. We could not have wished for a better few days.

Everything was simply perfect. Lucy and Juan are incredible hosts. They took care of us since the first moment we stepped out of the plane, actually even before, suggesting us good restaurants to visit and a great guide for the island (Noeraŋi, highly suggested). The Hare o Haupiano is a family-run cute hotel, immersed in the nature but just 10 min on foot from the city center and many restaurants. During the staying Lucy and Juan helped us a lot, especially with my ankle, which I sprained during an excursion. When we left they gave us two presents and Lucy gave a pair of wonderful earrings to my wife as a farewell present. Such nice people and such a nice B&B at the same time are difficult to find. We can just suggest them and support Hare o Haupiano. Maururu!!
