Sofia Guest House has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Luxor. The owner and Bilal make a good stay. No hassle, good information, always available, but (!) not in your space. Hoppa is a very good, very cute, extremely friendly and comfortable place. 5 or 6 decent rooms with airconditioning, a really good and clean pool and a kitchen with all you need (fridge, stove, kitchen stuff) to make your own breakfast or otherwise. The good feel of old hippy times, but with 5 star facilities. Excellent warm showers! On the south end of Luxor, under ten minutes by taxi (50-100 EGP) in a quiet mosk free area with a square where local kids play later in the day. Easy to mix up with them.

4 km from Colossi of Memnon, Villa golden life apartments, new property with pool access is a recently renovated property set in Luxor and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and parking... Very friendly and caring host who always made sure we had a great time. He gave us ideas on what to do and organized activities if we asked for help. The villa is really beautiful and in good conditions. I can also recommend the restaurant next door that kind of belongs to the villa.

The intent behind keeping it raw and close to the nature is commendable. Sudden fresh energy you'd feel at this place after all the haggling, hustling, and history of the trip. For the price charged, I wonder how could they provide this level of hospitality. The rooms were clean, spacious, reasonable amenities, great common space, an entire farm to explore, and the wonderful host. The location is easily approachable from the main road. It is a shame that we could not spend much time there and we had to leave in few hours, but If I ever visit Luxor again, this stay will definitely be my first priority.

Monhamed, Mahmoud and Ibrahim have been perfect hosts and have provided with insights and car service to visit all the attractions Luxor has to offer. Location is great: quiet and peaceful West Bank village.

He gives great recommendations for what to do nearby and can even help you get there, he helps you with absolutely everything you need and cooks you amazing meals if you ask him and for a very good price. The location is very peaceful and has a beautiful garden and fields nearby. The rooms were clean and spacious. This has amazing reviews for a reason and I would highly recommend to anyone

Nefertarie Guest House, a property with a garden, is set in Luxor, 3.8 km from Colossi of Memnon, 4.9 km from Medinet Habu Temple, as well as 5.2 km from Deir el-Medina. The guest house is amazing, but what stands out is Ibrahim’s hospitality. He helped us with the last moment balloon booking, and advised us on our itinerary. Would highly recommend asking him about some hidden gems in Luxor area. I know I’ll do that next time I visit!
