Sofia Guest House has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Luxor. The owner was very kind and allowed me a late check-in due to my evening flight. Just a minute’s walk from the property is the Nile, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and watch hot air balloons floating in the morning sky. The room I stayed in offered a partial Nile view. It’s an affordable, comfortable place, and I highly recommend it.

Located in Luxor, less than 1 km from Luxor Train Station, Abeer Guest House provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. The breakfast was really big and nice! Also the hosts, Austin and Abeer, together with the staff, were very friendly and helpful!! The bed was comfortable and the location was good on the east side, 10-min walk to the Luxor Temple and 15-min walk to the railway. They also offer a 4-course meal for dinner for 350/400 LE which is really good!

4 km from Colossi of Memnon, Villa golden life apartments, new property with pool access is a recently renovated property set in Luxor and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and parking... Very friendly and caring host who always made sure we had a great time. He gave us ideas on what to do and organized activities if we asked for help. The villa is really beautiful and in good conditions. I can also recommend the restaurant next door that kind of belongs to the villa.

The food is made from fresh ingredients grown right on their farm, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. While the amenities are basic, they are more than sufficient: the room and bed are comfortable, the shower works well, and the entire place exudes an authentic Bedouin charm. Overall, it’s a great value for money and definitely worth a stay.

Situated in the West bank district of Luxor, Blue Nile House features accommodation with a private pool and a 24-hour front desk. This is a great place to stay, great staff, good communication, comfortable room. They provide good breakfast. It has an awesome view.

Located 2.1 km from Colossi of Memnon, CASA LOKO Guest House offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. One of the best hotels we stayed at during 2 months in Egypt! Mahmoud and Mohammad were the absolute best hosts-- they organised drivers, an early AM airport transfer, delivered dinner and shisha to us on the rooftop most nights, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The apartment was nice enough to live in and we felt so comfortable here after travelling rather non-stop for several weeks-- 5 days wasn't enough! The location is in a very local part of the West Bank, away from any tourist bustle but still 15min walk to the river where you can get a ferry across to the temples for about 25egp per person. Would 1000% recommend and will definitely stay again next time we're in Luxor!!

Situated 3 km from Colossi of Memnon, Tasneem Palace offers a garden, a bar and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Everything! The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of hot water. The two brothers who run the place are hospitable and sincere — they never try to push any tours. I especially recommend ordering meals from them; the food was abundant and delicious. We enjoyed the wonderful dishes and the beautiful view from the rooftop — great value for money! The only downside was that our stay was too short.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, river view and a patio, Luxor Rose Villa is located in Luxor. Its a perfect stay in the West Luxor and very near to the temples and the Valley of the Kings. The house cat makes it 11/10. Recommend it!!

Nefertarie Guest House, a property with a garden, is set in Luxor, 3.8 km from Colossi of Memnon, 4.9 km from Medinet Habu Temple, as well as 5.2 km from Deir el-Medina. A decent, comfortable place to stay with the best host you can expect - Mohamed and Ibrahim was very helpful, always reachable and organized us trips in Luxor also from and to airport, with fair price while they were reliable. We recommend to stay in Nefertarie Guest House.
