The automatic check in was smooth and easy. The garage door opens and you enter the apartment through the garage. The apartment was nice, clean and well organised. The jacuzzi tub is a nice adition. The kitchen is basic, there is a single induction top, with microwave and a toaster.

Set in a building with garden and sea views, just 1 km from the beach, Apartamentos Mar Comillas feature stylish and well-equipped apartments, including modern kitchenettes and a flat-screen TV. Big and very clean apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Very kind and helpful staff.

The large stone building is divided into several apartments. The one I rented had absolutely spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Well worth driving the winding mountain roads to get there. The host was not at the property during my stay, but kept in close touch via WhatsApp to make sure my stay was enjoyable. The 1 bedroom apartment was large with a comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, great hot water for showering and cleaning up, several wall heaters to make it comfortable in the cold weather and very good wifi. The town itself is quite rural. I didn't see any grocery store or restaurant in the community. You will need a car to get there. But, if you don't mind driving the mountain roads this place is a gem. Be sure to stock up in a nearby town like Potes before you arrive.

The family were wonderful, friendly and welcoming. Beautiful Spanish house, huge bathroom and fabulous view. Lovely breakfast ready for us in the kitchen.

Lovely small apartment with 2 terraces. Nice views and private parking in front. Before arrival the owner provides very clear documents with the entrance code, but also some good information about nearby supermarkets, restaurants, hikes, etc... The kitchen supplies are just enough, but there is a dishwasher. Also a good coffee machine (with some milk, coffeecups and cake upon arrival :)) The bedroom has shutters on one side, so nice and dark in the night, and also a way to keep it cool in the daytime. We had a lovely stay!

I had the pleasure of staying at Apartamentos Santander while walking the Camino del Norte. I could not have asked for more during my two night stay. Communication with the host was excellent and she was incredibly helpful as I needed to arrange delivery of my luggage in advance of my arrival. Not only is the apartment very well located, it is also impeccably designed. But more importantly, it is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and then some. I immediately felt like home and would undoubtedly stay here again if I were to return to Santander!
