Set 1.5 km from the town of Koli, Kolin Lotus Cottages are located close to Lake Pielinen. These self-catering, semi-detached cottages have a children’s playground and BBQ facilities. In my 35 years of travel history, never have I ever come across such a super, fantastic and humane host - extremely helpful, always available, going out of his way to ensure the guests’ comfort, extremely informative (better than google and chat gpt) AND refuses to accept any gift or reward (monetary or anything)! Tino - you are the BEST! Thank you for the magical island boat ride - it was paradise!!! And if it were not for you, I would have totally missed seeing Koli’s best aerial view - Räsävaara Observation Tower!!! The best sunset and island views ever !!! The area is very quiet and located right next a green area which is easily accessible. Parking right in front of the door. We found toys and soft toys for the kids in the apartment which the kids were super pleased about. That was a very nice touch. Thank you!

There is a nice terrace facing the forest. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are clean and comfy. The coastal area is extraordinarily gorgeous and tranquil. I drive to the place. There's a local grocery store and restaurant in the neighbourhood. I would like to stay there again.

The apartment is very well equipped with the large kitchen, the sauna, a drying machine for ski clothes, and many cupboards. It is very comfortable, warm, with a nice view, very well located and calm, we highly recommend!

A very nice and clean apartment, grocery and restaurants really close by. The apartment was quiet, so easy to sleep if you're sensitive to external noises. Free parking was definitely a bonus! Needed gizmos available, be that a TV or a tea kettle.
